I see that biplane is there, with a broken off landing gear and damaged wing. I'm thinking, what will they do with it. There's no aircraft repair facilities on Lundy, and it can't take off as it is.
Apparently, according to staff, it veered off runway and hit the rocks designating the runway edge. But yes, it'll be inconvenient to fix and a long way for the mechanic to travel if he forgets a spanner or bolt.
@@AaronWhiffin I know Lundy does have a workshop, so they can service and fix the tractors and land rovers. Maybe they'll disassemble it and ship it back in pieces. The plane looks like a vintage Stearman.
