    I bought a similar auger(plumbing snake) as yours. A few days ago, our sink in the garage was clogged & we had to call our local plumber. After watching your video, I'm confident I can unclog the sink and save quite a bit of money😊

    Thank you very much, your video helped me finally unclog my sink. Even after watching so many others! The key was in locking it and until that step I did not know mine had a lock.

    I have a basin sink in my basement that my laundry drains into and the basin sink is clogged. I bought a 15' auger and can't seem to find the clog. Very very old pipes. It's kinda gross down there hoping I can get it.

    I tried this, kept feeling like I hit something, but then when I wound it in to break through, then pull back, there was nothing there. Tested the water, and the water didn't drain. I also got to a point in the line where it kinked and bent. Can I unbend it? I'm afraid it will eventually break there and get stuck in pipe.

    • @JMGENTERPRISES
      @JMGENTERPRISES  Před 2 lety

      How far are you going down before you hit something? Does it feel like you are hitting something hard or soft? Does it have any give when you push it? Typically, the clogs happen on the first or second bend in the pipes.

      @@JMGENTERPRISES Well, it felt like I hit something a few times. After writing that comment, I plunged the sink hard and finally got water to go down. I must have freed something. Can I put draino in and leave it for a night, will this even help?

    $18 to $30. Thanks Biden. The locking screw allows the thread to push the cable out or in depending on the direction of rotation. And you should go through the pipe in the wall and take the p-trap out. Just saying
