  • This is ultimately what you should expect when picking up your new RV. It doesn’t matter if it’s a pop up or a class A motor home they should all be treated the same. I’ve heard from many of my followers about horrible delivery experiences which lead to an overall negative experience with RVs. You should be educated on how all the systems and components work as well as being able to inspect the entire RV. Not all dealers are created equal but don’t settle for a quick peek and then off to finance. Discuss all issues found as well before signing anything. If your dealer isn’t Willing to have the RV camp ready during your walkthrough I strongly suggest buying from a different dealer.

Its so unfortunate that most dealers just put the rig out on the lot and (including trade in's) and wait until the buyer brings an issue up.....then the dealer fights back.....not covered.....Jayco, Starcraft, Forest River denied the warranty.......or the best one....drop it off and we'll fix it when we have time....which is months later. Reputable dealers are hard to come by......so are good RV techs. Keep up the videos.

Picking up my new trailer tomorrow. Had a walk through and found issues and asked for a new trailer and got it. Now we are going through getting the new one tomorrow. At our last one there was no water. I wanted the hot water heater to be turned on and working and to run water but they acted like I was crazy. Well tomorrow will be a new kind of crazy. If I find major things wrong again, or they will not do these things I am walking away.

Thanks for this informative video! Most of us would be too excited to get out on the road, but this is very important!

Don't take it home until you test everything on the lot, don't forget to walk the roof

Too bad the factory doesn't do a comparable check BEFORE they ship it to you!

How common is a two hour walkthrough on a used rv purchase? we are signing final paperwork and taking delivery on ours on friday this week, and they are doing a full 2hr walkthrough on it with us after doing a pdi.

I'm picking up my new TT in 2 weeks. The black tank filling part caught my attention. Should I be able to fill the black tank to the top of the toilet without it leaking?

Probably not a question he can honestly answer on this type of forum. Also, I'll bet you'd find good and bad opinions from anyone on any dealership. I do love Josh and hope Bish's is a reputable dealership.
