Morning Taylor! New shoe day, nice! Glad you were able to have the hike up Greylock you wanted. I love that section of trail, and I am jealous you had a clear day. I have only had one clear summit in all my trips there. I am curious why you switched to the tiger wall. Did you just want a free standing tent for the rest of the trip? Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well.

@@TaylortheNahamshaHiker the tiger walls is a great tent! It will be interesting to hear your opinion on it vs the duplex after Katahdin. I have the Fly Creek UL2 HV and agree that setting up a free standing tent (or in my case a mostly green standing tent) on a platform is way easier. I really like BA tents and if you should have an issue they are a great company to deal with for repair or warranty. I hope you are enjoying your days up in VT. Even now tho the GMC doesn’t want people going over 2,500’ in Vt until Mem Day as per mud season, they are likely well into VT in real time by now so will see how that is negotiated. Stratton is the first that comes to mind, tho there are no appreciable peaks of that height on about the first 20 NOBO miles in the state, Harmon Hill is ok.
