I always seem to miss these conventions , i'm located in Texas and am interested in if you have an convention planned in Texas anytime soon?

I don't know of any in that area. I'm in the Midwest, so I know the scene pretty well out here. They big one I know of in Texas is the Texas Pinball Show, and that happened around the beginning of April.
