The only thing is these are really hard on your back if you don’t sleep in them every night. It took me a week to get used to mine and I was 20. It feels like sleeping on a wood board the first couple of nights.
Plus these are meant for tatami. If you have hardwood/linoleum floors it gets even worse
ooh that makes sense. also probs depends if u prefer hard or soft beds cus i like it but a friend that tried it said absolutely not😂 so def depends on preferences
I'm 55 and sleep on a similar type of bedding every night for the last 6 years. Before that it was an old futon pad from a higher quality futon. This is much better than the floor itself or that old futon pad. I made mine from custom cut memory foam that's 4" thick, 6' long, and 3' across x2. I'm not sure, but I think it's squishier than this floor pad. My friend who is 84 slept on it recently and loved it 😊.
@@TheLadyBelton wow that’s awesome! yeah probably a bit thicker than this. i wonder if it helps keep mobility too since you have to get up and go down low you know?
This is a japanese futon! Many people sleep in them their whole lives. Like, they sleep in these every night rather than a mattress! I love it, prefer this.

I purchased an inflatable sleeping pad for camping and on top of a small layer of air it has memory foam inside. Takes up just around the same amount of space as my old queen inflatable mattress when stored away. Only thing is when sitting criss cross apple sauce your butt does start to get a little sore but sleeping on it was an absolute dream, and no electricity required the storage bag doubles as an air pump!

I bought one from QVC and it blows up into a tall bed with a headboard. My parents have used it and actually bought one for their house (they downsized from a 4 bed to a 2 bed seen as 1 sibling still lives at home but have 4 kids, 3 gran kids, 2 partners and a dog it gets busy)
My kids/ kids friends use it for sleep overs. My friends, siblings and nephew have used it also. My nephew calls it his bed lol.
How are you going through that many air mattresses? Do they sleep with things in their pockets? Are they jumping on the mattress? Are you keeping it inflated when you’re not using it? Are you spraying? It was soapy water to see where the air is coming from and patching the holes? Like I’m so confused, I know I may know more about air mattresses from my experience, my whole life camping, than others…. But how are you going through that many friend?
Don’t use tape, they make actual patches for air mattresses…..
i have no idea😅 some friends do stand on it, maybe it’s hitting my chair in the night or were putting it away too roughly. but they were also from thrift stores so they may have been worn in a bit
no fr cus i’ve had the same 2 air mattresses since the early 2000s and they still work great. 😭
@@danistrickland127 what brand did you get? Because I have probably bought three and I hate everyone of them. The longest lasting one cost me a little over $300 and my brother was staying with us for like a month and we had to keep inflating that thing it sucked.
@@This-Is-My-Little-Corner Walmart, my friend get a regular Walmart air mattress if you get it and it gets a hole you just patch the hole with an official patch and definitely always buy them new never thrift an air mattress
