- I received so many questions about my previous shallow planted aquarium. That’s why I made this simple shallow planted aquarium tutorial video. As you can see there is no complicated hardscape as woods, rocks, etc in this shallow aquascaping tutorial. My goal is to have freshwater plants come to a nice emersed stage outside of the water surface as quick as possible.

As always, beautiful. I am so inspired by your clean scapes with minimal hardscape and colourful plants. I will very soon do a major rescape of my 45-F tank and I will most probably go for a minimal hardscape, mainly emersed plants design.
If every plant grows over the surface, do you think CO2 is really necessary? Shouldn't the plants be able to absorb CO2 from the air? I am having thoughts to use CO2 during the initial stage and phase it out when everything is over the surface, but I have never tried that before.
Anyway, I will be looking forward to seeing the update of this one! :)
Thank you my friend. Btw Excellent question :) Plants always needs co2 and emersed stage mostly they can use co2 from out of the water. But I still provide them co2 :)

yes, eventually but removing them with air tubing :)

It's stunning lol ... I recently uploaded my 2L betta tank set up video but compared to yours. I'm a baby boy...T_T
my aquarium looks really nasty because i think i made a mistake. I bought a root also I put it in the aquarium so I put the plants in then I filled water in the aquarium so when the root had sunk something very nasty came on the root. Then some floating plants became black on their root and it began to smell old saltwater. wonderfully beautiful Aquarium as usual :)
please put the roots for 10 to 20 days in water then if it is okay ,then only put in your tank
