I just traded a 2020 LR AWD in on a 2022 PMY, I only have 286 on the PMY but can see the delta between the two is easily over 10% maybe higher. I do have some 18" tires and wheels with 245/50 sized tires going on. They weigh 15 pounds per tire less than the 21" tires/wheels. I hope to recover most of the lost range for long road trips. Plus I will no longer fear potholes or curbs. Oh and I can rotate them. Great video.

Great video! Thanks! A question: I am puzzled between the Model Y performance ( which I test driven and I really like) and the BMW X3 Xdrive 30 e M sport, which is Hybrid. Both are really nice cars… Have you driven the X3 2022? Any key differences you would highlight? Thanks!

I have the same 2021 model Y Long range but my current range is around 474km when fully charged, it is almost 30km less than yours!
My odometer is 29800 kilometers, almost the same as yours.
By the way I am in China and I am always charged by the Chinese "national power", because it's Prices is around 50% to Tesla super charger. I don't own a home charger.

Great video. So, in the end, we are looking at 121 kWh vs 139 kWh used to cover the 671 km trip. Put it simple, 22% less efficient the Performance vs the Long Range.

So i see at 7:48, it looks like the super charging "quantity" is in terms of price per minutes instead of price per kwh. Is this always the case?? Can you tell what the prices are going to be ahead of time?

Ya it shows how much it cost per minute on the touchscreen for each speed

Curious abour P version with light 18inch, some say it is as almost as fast as Model 3 P and uses less energy like the LR

You can equip. Just make sure the rims are not touching the break pads on the TMYP! So you need to find out which rims have enough clearance before you do this! Because the car is not designed to anything lower then 19@ wheels, but if you can find the rims that fits, then its no problem

isnt it obvious? the model y is larger and accommodates to more peoples needs like hauling a large storage it also has more range. it also has folding seats for more space if needed. the model y long rage is faster than the model 3 standard range but model 3 performance is faster than the model y performance.
