Two years ago I bought the cheapest black Addiesdive Quartz dive watch with a Nato strap. the one with Divers 200m on the face. I have taken this on numerous dives down to 120 feet and freediving to 60 feet, swam in the ocean, left it on in the sauna and just wear it everyday, gardening, mountain biking etc. It cost me 36 Euros. It's still going strong with not a scratch on it. Best watch ever.
Does it have the Hardlex Crystal? I just ordered one for my 10yr old kid who wants to get into watches. I'm hoping it's something he can wear 24/7 even playing baseball. That will probably be the only way he won't lose it. He loves my Blue 1953 Steeldive.
I’m happy that you like AD2055 it’s not an homage because was designed and prototyped by me in Italy. I given up the project to AD and the watch finally it was put in production 💪🏻

I always buy the bracelet if given the option. If I don’t like it, I already have plenty of straps to choose from if I so desire. Also, buying a bracelet for a watch can be a bit perplexing. If the attachment ends are straight, you have a gap between the bracelet and the watch head. If you buy one with curved ends, it may not fit the curvature of your watch so you end up screwed. Just buy the bracelet and have an option.
I got the 36mm quartz sand version and I loved it so much.. the 39mm automatic sapphire sand is on it’s way 😂😂 Thanks for the recommendation man keep up the great work
I love the blue AR... I don't buy watches with clear AR, or if I do I change the crystal to one that has AR. I would advise anyone who doesn't like the blue to change the crystal.
I don't mind blue A/R, as long as it doesn't look too "intrusive". On the first watch it is a bit strong but I like the watch so much, that I'll overlook it. Thanks for watching!!
The first Addiesdive (AD2056) has a lot going on between the dial minute markings and the bezel insert minute markings - if the bezel weren't so busy I think it'd be a much more attractive watch. Could be a good option for a bezel insert swap! Thanks for the review.

The problem is that I have most of them 😂The fix bezel gmt and the vc pilot are what got me into the make as most of my watches are mechanical and I wanted a get up and go.. The 2118 is another I got for the same reason. I'm looking for a Alpanist homage without the bezel so no prizes for guessing...

You got it for a very good price my friend. When I bought the sand coloured one last year, I paid $70. When I bought the white one recently, I was just lucky. I saw the early bird offer in my stream on AliExpress and I bought it immediately. I must have bought the last one in the offer, as I then tried to buy the blue one straight after but the offer had ended. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Regarding the first watch, just my opinion , would be nice if they offered the option of a domed chrystal or a flat one , just a thought ,great review.
Absolutely disagree. I don't get the hate for the regular Addiesdive branding on the AD2030, and to me - the cursive branding on the newer model is just cringe. All in all, despite the inferior mineral crystal, the AD2030 remains an absolute legend to me, whereas the new AD2059 is just meh.
I think most divers use dive computers these days, rather than traditional watches. The vast majority of people buy divers watches just because they like the style. Thanks for watching!! 👍👍

It's the default currency on AliExpress and it's the same information for everyone, that's an international audience. I do actually pay in dollars on AliEx, as I get a better exchange rate from my card provider. Thanks for watching 👍👍

I received the AD2055 the other day. The bracelet is indeed hot garbage. It rips the hair out of my arm like crazy. It looks a thousand times better on a leather strap anyway. The watch is nice but in my personal opinion it looked better in the CZcams reviews. I think the reflective part of the dial at the center looks a little cheap and I kind of wish the whole thing was textured. I do like the new cursive addiesdive it looks much nicer like that than their usual offerings in my opinion. I also like the unusual color match of the hands and the dial. It's kind of a mixed bag for me, but that's all personal opinion, except for the bracelet that is unobjectivly garbage, worse that PD brackets.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: #5 needs a cathedral or syringe handset. 70's tool hands don't mix with a 30's dial.
Would be good if they offered the option of cathedral style hands, for those who prefer them.

The AD 2059 is a massive improvement over the 2030. A nicer branding and sapphire crystal. But I wish it still had a diameter of 36 mm!

AD2044 is ridiculously overpriced for the specs offered. Similar watch for much less AD2035, means the price of Ad2044 is inflated at the moment.
