- This was my first fishing trip since contracting COVID three weeks ago. That was not very fun-I hope I never do that again. On the other hand, fishing is fun, and I managed to catch nine in total. A few of them were in the 15-17 inch range, and the rest were more like 10-12 inches. I only got a few of them on camera. I forgot my rear-mounted camera.
Sorry to hear you caught COVID. I had it and I lost my taste for over 2 months. I hated that part. Take it easy and glad to see you back. 🎉🎉
Thank You. I had a metallic taste in my mouth for about 2 weeks, but it is gone now, thankfully.
Covid is no fun. Glad to see your back on the water. What kind of inflatable do you have?
Thanks. I have a Hobie i11s inflatable. I originally got it for use with our 5th wheel. The other kayak is too big to carry. It works great when we go camping in the 5th wheel but I also figured out it works really well in hard to get to places. It is only 35 lbs.

Hi Craig. I love the new kayak. The extra size of the PA 14 makes standing up much easier and the dual motors mean I can easily cover 15 miles or more when I am out on the lake.

Nice to be on a lake and travel or cover more water without having a pedal lol. That doesn’t seem like much of an issue now though.
