Thank you! I was trying to learn the barrel roll from Skatefresh Asha's tutorial and realized I didn't know how to backwards crossover. Your's was the simplest and easy to understand of about a dozen tutorials I looked at. Helped me finish learning a basic barrel roll and now I can corner better going backwards too!

Why do skaters use the term "edge"? Does it come from ice skating? I don't see any edges on a roller skate but it would make sense on a blade.
Aw that’s a great question!! Maybe because you’re compressing the cushion to the edge?
