I just saw Bob Sept 2nd this year in Indianapolis...he is 72 and still rocks!! 2 hours of singing and he sounds great! Which is why I have been a fan for about 47 years!
My mom was there at that concert, that's what makes me love it mom,knowing she was there at that concert having a blast,things are alot different these days then what they were back then

This guy caught my ear in about 1973 ish as a young guitar player trying to learn. we didn't have tabs and you tube then. you learned by ear. I listened to alot of different music and learned from it all but when I put this album on i was going to jam. Not really learn anything but seeing if i can keep up the big boys. I recommend this live album to any young rock guitarist wanna be that wants to learn. It's pretty simple straight forward basic rock and roll with a super fantastic front man that has the gifts to cut through.

He was talking about all the whore houses and drug houses on John R. and Brush, he never said they meet, or there is a corner, I have spent time down there and he was telling it like it was. He knew what he was talking about.
I know his guitar playing was never as great as Clapton or Beck but have you ever seen his shows back in the 80s or or early 90s? Bob Coburn from Rockline even said his shows were one of the best you could ever see back then. And Coburn has interviewed EVERYONE so he had no reason to kiss Thorogood's ass.
Sorry to hear about your son. He see's you though. Its only a metter of time before you see him again. You will live a long life, but for him seeing you again will be like today. On the other side there is no such thing as time. I am not being disrespectful, but truthful.

This is DETROIT rock and roll. There is never a let-up of intensity, focus, and energy. The songs are clean and done only as Seger can do them.
