Irish music is great though, it's a very good starting point to learn by ear and get fingers working fast ;) Glad I can provide another folk repertoire though !

Most of the tunes my dance group play are from Hälsingland (we even play this one every dance, it feels like!) and I *never* noticed it hasn't been talked about on this channel before 😆 Sounds great Emilie!
Hälsingland is a serious goldmine for good tunes ! It's just that they are often a little bit technical and I tend to prefer teaching simpler (but yet good) tunes so that even beginners get something nice =) But yeah, I totally get that you people are fond of that repertoire ! It's one of my favourites too !

Very fun tune indeed! True, it's a bit trickier on the nyckelharpa, but it's a good lesson on how to climb responsibly! Hmm... Come to think of it, that sounds like some sort of nyckelharpa slogan...
