I was born in Shipley (Windhill) and - before we emigrated to Australia when I was 9yrs old - have many fond memories of playing around the disused railway tracks, closed railway tunnels and sprinting over the bridges over the old tracks.
Perhaps the old Shipley branch line could be reopened and electrified. And electrification at Bradford Interchange if other lines are to be electrified.
Yeah! That would be really interesting a bit like a Bradford Overground of sorts, though the line in sections has been heavily built on so it would need alot of work to bring it back. Hope you've had a good day!

Im from bradford and know the route well but its now obliterated by hospitals schools and residential housing
