Comes off easier than a normal wrap 😂
😅👍🏻
@@24k__J depending if it’s this or crap wrap
Not always man. If its left on there for a while, it will bake onto the paint. The prior owner of my R35 GTR had it done and to get it off, it had to be fully sanded and resprayed and hence killing the original paint.
@@24k__Jsounds like they need to apply something to start the process. I wonder if it's possible to encounter those requirements out in the wild. I'd imagine it's some type of uv cured or similar paint on. Maybe just dry on.
@@Desert_Spec that was addressed by the team saying that other shops had previously done such treatments and paint was ruined
Logic is on a whole other level and Cam really knows his craft. James brilliant partnering up with logic and having it all under one roof. That peelable paint tech truly is incredible👏
Thanks mate!
that was bloomin impressive, well done logic (and you for partnering with them) and with how thick that was i bet it is super quality as a paint protection for the factory colour
Thanks so much! Proud of the Logic team - and yes it has in-built PPF qualities too 👍🏻
The wrap peeling off is so satisfying 😮💨
But it's not a wrap 😂😂😅
Sooo good 😅
Looks sick!! Love the show. Greetings from South Africa
When I saw the unwrapped GT3 on your Uncut, I was confused for a second. I was like “did James just rent a chalk GT3?” Then I saw the plates and got even more confused until I remembered at some point that you peeled the paint off. And yes this blue should work much better
😅
I love this guys passion 😂he's super excited about what he's created and its awesome to see. As for the 911.. I can't get enough of it. That interior, the duck tail etc etc.. Stunning
Thanks Justin!
Such a cool technology. With wraps becoming so mainstream in the US I could see this being adopted as a premium alternative for high-end cars that could not be ordered in PTS colors or for second-hand customers still paying high prices for supercars. Wouldn’t be surprised if you haven’t been approached to license this tech in L.A., Miami and NYC.
Isn’t it very close or similar to plastidip?
Such a satisfying video. Thanks James for all you do
Awesome color choice. Not only one of my favorite car colors ever but the interior will make a lot more sense. Amazing tech.
Science for the win
Amazing. Love the enthusiasm and the true knowledge of this guy - a real paint master.
Thkanks soooo much to sharing that one James !
It's been a long time i hope to see how this paint can be removed off and it was worth it. Simply amazing !
Great work Cam, very impressive. Cheers Graham and Loraine
Mr JWW Absolutely Incredible Video I think it's Absolutely Incredible how easily Logic's Peelable Paint Flim comes off and I can't wait to see your 991.2 911 GT3 repainted in that absolutely gorgeous Color
Amazing tech. Congrats to Logic. But even a greater congrats to you for partnering up and bringing them inhouse. Brilliant business move. All the questions got answered today. Only issue is how do I get my collection of cars over there to be all transformed? I'll be in touch J. Cheers...
Simply use a truck, weird question.

@@katleholenong6011 My cars are in Canada. Wording could be improved.
That was so cool. Can’t wait to see the new colour & how it goes with the interior, which by the way is beautiful.
Thanks for addressing my first concern: How do you get rid of the paint in the crevasses. (I heard that's the nasty little secret about wraps: they do not come off as easily as one would assume.)
Indeed.
The blue and orange worked so well together!
That's way better than a wrap. Wraps you have to worry or run the risk about it pulling up the stock paint when pulling it off. That looks like it came off so cleanly and easily there is no risk of that happening
This is great ! Much better than normal wrap or ppf.
Very interesting stuff, thanks for sharing!
i would add pcs of that paint to orders if u had a mr.jww shop.,
edit. i do like how he loves nerding out about paint. i could listen all day. i wish i knew more about auto paint
Interested to see if it could last for years. With how easy it comes off I'd be worried it would last.
I was waiting for this one. Niceee
without the membrane, the paint would not stay "stuck" to the shiny factory paint in the first place. If one does not scuff to create a rough surface for new paint to stick to, the new paint will come off in sheets in no time. So the membrane is also key for long term adhesion.
Really awesome product! 👌🏻 OEM pearls are so tame though. I think it needs a bit of secret sauce 🌟
Incredible world class fantastic idea well done
Comes off 100 times easier than wrap. Amazing
Merlin purple would have been a nice link back to your old RS6. Not sure whether it’d go with the interior though!
My favourite content of this channel is about your GT3 🏁, can wait to see the final look 🔵
Mr. JWW what is the estimated price tag on this? Also, is there a US Supplier and applicator?
That comes off so easy 👌
I still prefer plasti dip over any of this. That stuff looks like it would be a pain to fully remove.
San Marino blue will look amazing with the orange interior, but I agree with Cameron that it also looks great with the crayon.
He is master of paint 👌
I'm shocked he doesn't have a draw down tool. That way you can get a better idea of what it will look like. Plus it'll dry quicker. Being a sample and all.
Adore San Marino Blue, can’t wait to see this done
Finally we get to see!
Amazing product kudos to logic. Wonder if we get a Dukes of Hazard exit from Mr. JWW loved that bit on the Uncut channel.
If it's not too late, do Yachting Blue Metallic. It's the best Porsche PTS color ever and it'll clash less against the orange interior.
Damn. Really thought it was a wrap. Very innovative. Especially that it is paint it will also protect the original paint of the car as well. Freakin awesome
Pretty cool stuff!
@@MrJWW indeed
I love paint mixing, can we get more please!
Love the 914 Olympic Blue Cameron did on my GT4 RS! Looks amazing ❤❤
😅👍🏻
Starting price for this coating was 10000 pounds, 4 years ago at Topaz. You can see this in an old Shmee150 video about transforming his AMG G63 at what was called Topaz, I think. The price is stated just before the 13-minute mark. That's an expensive colour change😁
For some reason watching the paint being peeled off is so satisfying. 😂
I like the OEM Crayon paint with the bespoke orange interior.
Love this car, the interior + spec,
the perfect 911 ?
It’s so great to see nerds talk about their passions
Impressive !
Would be cool if available in the US! I have dreams of a few car/color combinations that I’d love to see. I guess I need the cars to start with though?
This is what innovation looks like
nice tech content
Incredible technology
BMW Montego blue is an amazing colour that's very rare
Indeed!
The blue was perfect
Super video.
Thanks!
I notice your car was a 991.2. But i was told by many shops that there is no duck tail for the 991.2s. Can u let me know where you got ur duck tail from? Thanks!
Prefect for the next heist
That's some great stuff !!! 👍
what are the US-based distributors for their product?
This is so crazy. I think you need to get rid of the yellow on the pccb calipers, it has a singer feel to it with that interior and they are a bit clashing imo.
Impressive! Any chance we will see a branch in Saudi Arabia?
Wow!
Does the logic paint come with different finishes? Gloss, matt, or satin, for example.
Yes Sir 👍🏻
I loved that color
New one incoming!
i love the concept, basically wrap the car then paint over the wrap, it seems like the best of both worlds, and hopefully it reduces the prep work needed to lay a good paintjob. I am curious as to what the price compares to both a traditional wrap and a high quality paintjob, keeping in mind that during this process, you're still going to incur the cost of a traditional wrap.
Good luck, he’s never talking about price
The film underneath the paint is also sprayed on. Full process is sprayed
@@RamanSingh-lj9wn So it's like painting over plastidip?
@@bodhim4353 pretty much, if you spray it thick enough it will come off like a sheet of plastic
Good morning James , and cam ! That wrap on the car ✔👍 fanatic great to see you doing something different to a car 🤔 ! Nice one I + MILLIONS AROUND THE WORLD , will be tune in , To see what's next , 👍 you, and cam have a great day regards to you and your family's ! hope to 👀 more of cam ? Cool guy c u James mate , c u again cam
Ok, I'm convinced, it works! Well done guys. What's the lifespan of the product? In other words, does it 'have to' be removed after X amount of years?
A friend was enquiring about using this paint process to refresh his GT3 … he says that Logic told him the peelable paint has a shelf life … would be good to get clarity please from Cam / James on this. Thanks for sharing the removal process. I’m interested in the spray on PPF and would have the same question as my intention would for the PPF to be on for life. Hope you pick this up, thanks, Paul
Good for the environment 👍
It is, water based unlike a plastic wrap 👍🏻
Completely off topic but what model are those grey nikes you are wearing with the red tick on one shoe and the blue on the other ?
They are Nike Blazers 77’ Mid Tops BUT they are ‘ID’ meaning custom made so I designed them and Nike made them to spec 👍🏻
@@MrJWW cheers dude. You specced them well 👌and I’m sorry but I’m 100% copying you 🤦🏻♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can you recycle the paint afterwards?
What paint is that?
🥇🦈💎 I need the recipe
Very good and truth demonstartion...........👍
wish we had more of these in the states...
Check out dip your car. Basically the same thing
How expensive is Logic paint? Do you have to drive your car to their shop or is it like any interested shop is able to license this and do it near you?
Volvo showed back in 2006 that bright blue on a brown interiour is a win, when they launched the V70R facelift in sonic blue
Out of curiosity, how much would it cost to do a similar size car like your 911? Another question, is this technology coming to the US?
I think in a video on another channel it was the same as a fairly good paint job, 15 to 20k USD. (I think it was a Shmee150 video shot at a competitor in England, Dub customs, someone like that, the name has slipped my mind, they were doing it pre Covid) WAY more money than a wrap.
Notification Squad and First
You actually are 🥇
@MrJWW Thanks Bubby
Do the DDE SVJ in this paint film and convert them!!
wait so the same color again? I thought something completely different mate
Seen the end of the video?
There is a reason car manufacturers have like 20 different shades of blue mate, they ain't the same color.
So Dude, did you just "pull off" a $20,000 paint job?!! I know you're a head Honcho there at the facility, and perhaps you can write off some of the costs to the business and your channel but holy crap, that's still a bunch of coin. Satisfying to watch too. Well done.
Would have been nice to know what the total weight is for the paint that came off? 👍🏼
Interesting - we'll do this next time : )
Whats the cost of this process ?
Yeah, Dip You Car has been around for a good few years.
Where did he get the ducktail?
whats this wrap called?
I am intrigued but remain skeptical.
Whats this product called?
The painter guy speaks like Mike Skinner from Streets. He works with original pirate paint material. :D
Available in USA?
It’s really neat but it’s really expensive!
It looks and works just like dip. How's this different?
Very similar analogy yes!
@@veemacks7255 ah that makes more sense thank you. And there's no issue with the paint adhering long term or in extreme temperatures?
Very impressive process and results - may have to consider such a paint on my convertible! Btw, that new blue looks a lot like my Q8’s Galaxy Blue, which has huge flake in it. We get compliments all the time on it.
Plastidip to wrap to removeable paint. How know which way to go ????? I haven’t had a need to use such services on a car but fascinated.
No right or wrong It’s down to quality levels - plasti-dip is not designed for a full car, it’s effectively rubberised material and has a shorter recommended surface lifespan. Wraps are getting good but you’re fixed to the colours on offer and you can’t care for/maintain a wrap like paint, even have to be careful how you wash it. Additionally the surface quality of a wrap usually looks like a wrap. Removable paint is manufacturer grade, real paint. It is good for the life of the car as per paint, it is treated as paint so can be polished, buffed etc, you have infinite colour options including exact match of manufacturer paints (think Porsche PTS and Lamborghini Ad-Personum) and it has in-built PPF qualities but mostly the quality and finish is The. Real. Deal. 😎🏁
Is the tech similar to a high end plasti-dip?
Well plasti-dip the colour and the application is all in one, its a rubberised coating. This is a liquid removable membrane and then actual real automotive paint applied top as the second stage.
How does this differ from plastidip?
well i leaned something new today thanks
Yes but will it come off that easily after months of hot baking sunshine??
