Trains at West Ham | 10/04/2024

On 10th April 2024, I trainspotted at West Ham.
West Ham station is in East London in the London borough of Newham. It is just directly below Stratford. West Ham train station serves DLR, Jubilee Line, District Line, Hammersmith & City Line and C2C trains. I recorded all of them. I also managed to record a C2C Class 720 train. There were a lot of Class 357 trains passing this station towards London Fenchurch Street from East Ham Train Depot. West Ham railway station is having a new station entrance being built at this moment of time.
West Ham station is managed by TFL. The C2C platforms are Platform 7 and Platform 8. Platform 7 are C2C trains towards London Fenchurch Street. Platform 8 are C2C trains towards Essex. All of the other platforms have TFL trains. The Jubilee Line and DLR area is not the greatest place to record. This is because you don’t get a great view of the Jubilee Line trains from the DLR platforms. The high level area is a lot better to record (especially near the end of the C2C platforms) The far end of the C2C platforms are quite narrow, but the main section is a bit wider. District Line and Hammersmith & City Line trains are in the high level part too. The frequency of the trains is excellent. It is quite good though.
I personally think that West Ham is a fairly good place to record trains. I think this because the Jubilee Line and DLR part is a bit harder to see the Jubilee Line trains from the DLR platforms. The High Level area where C2C trains go has a great view of the trains. There is a large amount of trains here. It is fairly good overall. Please remember, this is my opinion.
