      @OldTiredFat Před měsícem +2

      @elennapointer701 a quick question, if the left wing contributed as much to society as right wing, roofers, plumbers, brickies, electricians and road builders, instead of running around like children trying to score points, don't you think having some skills and achievements would make them feel a sense of self worth?

    • @petefl1818
      @petefl1818 Před 29 dny

      The left has had nothing to do with the way the UK has been run for the last 14 years so the left is not responsible for the diabolical state of the UK today. As far as roofers, plumbers, brickies, electricians go, the shortages of them today in the UK is due to Thatcher stopping council houses being built, then selling them off, so builders and councils stopped training apprentices to fulfil future needs for tradesmen. Why do you think Polish plumbers were so welcome in the UK.

      @ukbloke28 they aren't achievements. All but one is just stealing money from people to give to others, akin to protection money racket, and the Good Friday agreement was just Blair selling control of Northern Ireland to the Vatican in return for personal sainthood.
      This is the behaviour. Get in power, take a country's assets, give it away, get backhanders.

      not convinced you can 'both sides' this issue, sorry - the far right are borderline QAnoners when it comes to what they believe about Labour and no ammount of spelling out the facts appears to make a difference. Everything they say they want done on quote "illegal immigration" are things Blair did - using the Navy to stop people smugglers during the Somali civil war, building Yarls Wood detention centre to detain failed asylum applications, deportation flights returning failed asylum seekers to their country of origin, additional funding at the home office to increase border patrols on an annually increasing basis, voucher schemes for Asylum seekers (TWICE!) - a whole raft of punitive measures. Blair went so far on the 'illegal immigration' thing that it caused a huge backlash within his own party and opposition from the wider left wing- he passed no fewer than 4 acts of parliament further restricting asylum applications and increasing police powers. The Conservatives did nothing and stayed quiet while the myth that "Labour support open borders and uncontrolled migration" which is absolutely the opposite of the truth - immigration of all kinds massively increased under the Tories and they sat on their hands because the far right were still blaming Labour after 14 years of Tory rule.

    I voted reform and am now starting to regret it. He most certainly hasn’t helped with his rhetoric regarding the riots. Tommy Robinson is the worst instigator as is Andrew Tate. Violence and chaos on our streets is not to be tolerated in any form.
