He does a slightly more delayed PR 3 at the end of the lavafall in Phase 3, so the first hit of PR 3 causes a clagger instead of the second. This causes the second hit's high stagger damage to happen after the clagger and contribute to the next flinch threshold instead. Late PR 3 is a very effective technique to get the next topple much quicker, but it can also backfire if PR 3 whiffs

He showcases the risky untimed PR 2 into timed PR 3 punish on the tracking body slam in Phase 3 and on the attack where Kulve slams her head 3 times. There are other places to do the same punish other than what's shown in our runs. Kulve also has much slower attack animations when unagitated, so it becomes even easier to do the PR 3 punish if you don't agitate her with the clutch claw triple slap

My personal favorite run ^^ Really fast time considering this was before Fatalis weapon + Frostcraft became a thing. He also shows how you can be extra safe during the lavafall punish in Phase 1 by delaying PR till after the fire hits the ground

He shows the timing and positioning for backstepping through the delayed charge attack after Kulve slams her head into the ground. To backstep through it without a lot of Evade Window, you have to move towards the direction Kulve is facing, and then backstep with your back facing her when she gets close. He does the risky PR 3 punish afterward too

Insane run bro. What i love is you didn't even do anything tryhard you just had really good timing on the backhops so you could punish kulve. I definitely have a lot to learn from you even tho i have 200 hours into sns lol

Thank you! Ye, I think FC is capable of pulling off a sub 5 run, but I wasn't able to find one at the time of posting unfortunately. You'd pretty much want to get fire puddle immediately so you can proc Latent Power, and hopefully get rng to get a topple in each phase

Ive been watching your vids im new to the game i gotta ask whats the purpose for the monsters head and when you let them spin

The purpose is to enrage the monster. This activates the Agitator skill, and some monsters receive more damage when they're enraged. Some monsters' attacks change too.
