    I'm honestly floored at how creative and truly different all your devices are. Your productivity is insane. Ableton should bring you on board.

    Dillon, you are a Max device artist!! I just love it every time. There are a lot of great developers out there that make gorgeous devices, but it can be another sequencer... or it can be a needed rendition of an analogous effect - but you. you make things that are just completely zonky and fresh. I'm walls exited to see your newest weird way to mess with data

    Such a smart way to evolve the slice - super impressed haha this is genuinely so exciting. Also for the comment section peeps; you should suss Alexander Panos’ new devices too. It’s a good time to be throwing money sideways to each other instead of up to investment firms lmao ❤

    Will there be a way for this device to access the data Ableton 12 produces when it analyses all your samples? Could save time and cpu maybe ?

    • @dillonbastan246
      @dillonbastan246  Před 8 měsíci

      I mean the same could be said if I could even access that data with asd in the past, but it's just hex values. I haven't looked into now but I'd be doubtful if I could and also then it would mean you have to have ableton analyze files before dropping in my device which also might be annoying for some workflows like if you wanna drop in folders of drum samples into coalescence real fast

    • @dillonbastan246
      @dillonbastan246  Před 8 měsíci

      Also that shouldnt really save any CPU, but time for sure especially if you are talking long sa,ples. But also I'm not sure it would really analyze the data the same and the same amount. In my device I analyze the descriptors for every spectral frame for potential use in the neural network, I'm unsure if ableton does an equivelant

    • @Kevhuman
      @Kevhuman Před 8 měsíci

      Thanks for considering the suggestion, 🙂 I was assuming that live 12 used a similar neural network to implement the "find similar samples" thing .

  • @Artek604
    @Artek604 Před 9 měsíci

    Hi Dillon, please fix your "Inspired by nature" device pack for Live. On Windows PCs when using OS scaling other than 100% the device displays don't align with the frame, making them unusable. If you want, I can make a video.
    2nd thing - does Coalescence work on Push 3 Standalone?

    • @dillonbastan246
      @dillonbastan246  Před 9 měsíci

      That should have been fixed in an update make sure you redownload the pack email me if you have issues: dillonbastan@gmail.com . As for push3 I doubt it because I dont have a push 3 to ftest it with and additionalyl I'm pretty sure push3 standalone only supports basic maxforlive UI so much of this device is not that and likely wouldnt be possible to work on standalone until they expand push 3

      I can't say personally but probably pretty good as on my 2013 mbp runs fine. You can push it depending on settings like having many voices with the phase vocoder mode perhaps but so far people with Mx chips reported to me it ran like a breeze

      i am making vst but it is very slow and need $ in the meantime and the m4l is sustaining me for the moment. Also i can realize an idea without investing many months or years into a project only to see if the idea will actually be a success or not. So this is also a good vetting process for future vst
