    Cool, man! A granular mode would be nice, such that each slice of sound could sustain smoothly and indefinitely, and then also transition into the next sound.

      You definitely can get granular playback, just hold one or multiple notes. If you are in Point mode or Paths mode with single path on and you dont want the multiple notes to repitch in order to get a granular effect, simply turn off the MIDI repitch button (found in Playback settings next to transpose, the keyboard button icon) and all the pitches will be the same.

      Make sure looping is turned on of course and the parameters work like granular ones

      @@dillonbastan246 Ok. Could you make a demo of this feature that goes a bit longer so I can feel comfortable that I can use this like a playable musical instrument? I imagine you could drop in a sample snippet of a loop/song containing various timbres and melodic elements n even drums, set midi repitch n looping, set an automated path along the separated timbral elements, and then be free to play my own melody-while the timbres used for each note are continuously evolving. Could I play it with both hands, like playing a normal piano piece? Thanks! Have a great new year!

    Thanks for the walkthrough. I haven’t purchased coalescence yet but I think I will. Amazing idea. Could be useful for a lot of things. Bravo👏

    thanks for this great device ! i was just wondering how would you use the point mode to have something "musical" and how do you trigger it ? midi clip, sequencer, keyboard .. ?

    • @dillonbastan246
      @dillonbastan246  Před 2 měsíci +1

      point mode works like a regular sampler when it comes to playback with midi. You choose a point to start playing back from across al the dropped samples. All this devices works with midi triggering and audio input triggering, i recommend watching the walkthrough to understand how it works

    I hear that you're the guru for max 4 live. I use live10 standard version and i was hoping to upgrade. Sfx and bass is my life. Do you have any advice. I feel lost and stuck.

      @dillonbastan246 am I using the right daw for sound fx? I see so many people using kontakt but it doesn't seem appealing to me. Do you think vital and max 4 live is enough for me to make audio for movies.
