Thank you for coming up with yet another insight into the mysteries of Ps.
I had a smile when you avoided naming the life buoy. The American pronunciation is quite different to the English version. Vive le difference!

Great tutorial, thank you! I've used the tool once, but will continue to use it in the future. (Though I do a lot of my color edits in Lightroom Classic.)

Thanks Anthony. Being a computer idiot, I find it easier to refine masks in LR ( wish that wasn’t so ) ie.. that first image, when you picked girl, I think it did a bad job. A lot of the green background was selected giving a bit of a halo when you increased exposure. In LR, I would select subtract object… then with small brush, it would easily grab that green color and subtract from mask. I can’t figure out how to do that in PS.

It seems to me that the real power of an adjustment “brush” would be to use it as an actual brush, not as yet another selection tool. Why not use it to simply brush chosen adjustments to non-selected areas of a photo much as one would dodge and burn. Seems pretty straightforward to me and a whole lot more useful (in fact that is exactly how I use it…works great).

Basically that's what I have been doing, especially to adjust tiny color variations in faces. Example: There is a slight yellow tinge to a facial area while most of face in natural color. The adjustment brush allows gentle and exact selection of the yellowed part, I can view the change as I adjust it to better match the rest of the face... NICE... ANTHONY may have covered that in one of his other segments, I'm going to check those now!!!!!

Hi Anthony, I like that tool and the way it works....Can you confirm that if you want to use a different tool within the adjustment tool you have to add another layer? Great video Thank you Colin Devon UK...

In the second photo how did it know that you wanted to work on the sky?
