- Few places in Azeroth are as beautiful - or as perilous - as Highmountain. Its rugged slopes teem with wild beasts, roaring waterfalls, and breathtaking views. A vast network of caverns winds through the mountain's heart, holding legendary treasures and secrets from Azeroth's distant past.

There wasn't a single bad zone in Legion, I really enjoyed that expansion
And what were the bad zones of WoD/MoP?
True yes, Legion was a great expansion.
@@Irades hm, this hasn't to do anything with my intial comment but if I think about it then I'd say the insect zone of MoP and the desert zone of WoD... I don't remember well though.
@@cozymode70 Desert zone in WoD if you are thinking of Gorgrond it's one of the best Zone in the game!
4:31
yaaaaaas!!!
9:26 my favorite part. I used to wake up 4 hours early before my shift and spend a few hours doing dailies and other things, but this song here was what a drank my coffee to. It woke me up feeling content and blissful.
Legion was the only expansion besides BC that I took all the way to the endgame. I'll never forget it.
Indeed :)
Very much, it's like a phoenix rising above hardships of life 🐝💕
highmountain was the first legion zone i leveled in, and i gotta say, i still get chills when i ride in on a flight path and hear 4:31. i love it!
Flight path?
21:16 Together! We are Highmountain! (is a very epic phrase )
My favorite song out of the whole lot.
I listened to this part when i made my Highmountain Tauren hunter, he comes from the Skyhorn tribe.
Absolutely loved when Navarogg joined the crew at Thunder Totem and shouted this. Without a doubt my favorite character in the zone.
omg YES. This was the zone I chose to level in first since I just LOVE mountain themes.
maaikees and damn has anyone told you youre a damn cutie?
@@izzzynunya4798 i know im 3 years late but bro...
Same
Btw, this zone Is just Amazing, One of My fav in The whole Games.
The Look and The Style, just Incredible, Since it was The best I decided to keep it as The last one to level in Legion and It Really paid off.
Funny quests, Amazing Look, Amazing Music.
Blizzard surely delivered to us Amazing zones with Legion.
Before the scaling was implemented it was actually the last zone before heading to Suramar.
sacred? free?
@@Everness1 Legion was with scalable zones from the begining. I started in Highmountain and ended in Azsuna.
@@tynkp4322 on beta wasn't scalable thts wht he means.
15:28 is so beautiful, i can't help spacing out whenever i listen to it, it feels like the prelude to a magical adventure, so breathtaking
Beware the deep places of the Earth.
Every time I say to myself there won't be such great music in the next expansion, yet I am here. Flute and choir, just beautiful! 23:10
Y'all are crazy; 21:16 is the peak of high mountain music to me!!!
And Remember. Highmountain will be there for you. Always.
Thank you @Everness I love your videos, they help me study and concentrate, and I also play them on my TV when tidying or chilling at home. Huge love! Highmountain is one of my favourite zones too, the music is amazing in both a calming nature way, but also feelings of fellowship and comradeship; climbing that mountain together!
I will miss this game...
One of my favorites zones is Grizzly Hills, that zone was very calm, peaceful, you can catch lots of herring, the scenery is beautiful, and the music is catchy. Then it came to this in Legion... I know about it nothing, and I've decided to go there last... OMG, the shocking feelings. And one of the most epic music in Azeroth. Oh and my absolute fav part from 9:26 I've got goosebumps every time I hear it. Breathtaking.
Woooah, it's so beautiful.
Everness, I just wanted to say that your videos helped me a lot while writing my Master thesis - I have already successfully graduated and I even decided to go back to WoW because *nostalgia*. Thanks for making CZcams a better place!
What a lovely thing to say, thank you very much! And congratulations on graduating!
Are you me? I'm literally listening to all of these as I'm going through med school. The urge to get back on WoW is at an all-time high haha
it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who listens to wow music to study
I didn't realize how much this music imprinted on me when playing Legion, this is amazing
53:11 is my favorite one. So epic.
Yes! My favorite too, I spent so long looking for it
You found some really great shots for this one, I love the sun between the two peaks around 9:00 lighting up Thunder Totem.
Everytime i play wow music i cant explain what is going on inside of me but there is a feeling of sadness, nostalgia, happines and so much more... that tells you how good the music is. Thank you very much for uploading these videos.
Dude this! So often i just instantly tear up and this torrent of feels ensues. wish i could explain it better :/
Beautiful!
So basically your emotions are mixed! We all feel that way sometimes.
Thank you so much for these videos. They provide some much needed zen during my workday.
Beautiful music for a beautiful zone.
First zone I chose, because the Hunter order hall was there and I mained a hunter in early Legion. Best desciscion ever. Love everything about this zone.
Thank you Everness, this is probably the only Legion video I wanted from you. :P Keep up the good work, and please don't forget to make more MoP videos for us, too!
Never! Mists of Pandaria is my favorite expansion.
I love the Highmountain natives!! Warcraft lore; Warcraft life!!
Yeeees finally! :) Been waiting for this one!
this is beyond the best soundtrack ever made in gaming, all of wow.
Thanks for doing this!
This was my favorite zone In Legion
Just thanks , love all your videos
30:38 - Highmountain 2 - Part H is just fucking beautiful jesus....
The flute theme at 39:50... pretty good!
Thanks for the upload.
Oh god, it is so good that you can feel the climate of the game
christmas is early i guess. two zones in 1 week... never slept better.
Great job !
Highmountain may just have outdone Wrath's title music, Ironforge, Nightsong, Howling Fjord and The Barrens/Mulgore for my favourite track from Wow's soundtrack!
16:00 video game music will always be an underappreciated gem
14:35 Neltharion's Lair has never looked so fantastic and...wait is that a windmill? _Underground?!_ Immersion broken.
it's actually not so weird, might be draft there, you know air enters one way they goes out the other through those tunnels, you stupid shit.
thank you so much, you are one of my favorite
Memories... and it wasn't even that long ago :D
perfect music
I like this music, so relaxing.
One of the best locations since wotlk
What other zones would you put up there? I stopped mid-Cata, but just re-subbed to retail now, to see what I missed in the following expansions.
The Zandalari isles, the Broken Isles, Frostfire Ridge and Shadowmoon Valley 2.0 are all among their very best, imo :)
@@bcbitchkkv Never played Pandaria. As for WoD really love Spires of Arak. Arakkoas are cool and there is some important and interesting lore for them. First I hated Gorgrond (while leveling through zone), then it really grew on me. It has some unique and distinct zones and theme of giants ruling those lands and never-ending fight between them feels kinda unique. Overall, this place is real WILD. I never experienced Nagrand though, always leveled before reaching it. Talador is very interesting to look at Auchindoun and Shattrath before... you know. Sad we didn't get to see it peaceful and live. Other than that, beautifully crafted nature, but nothing memorable. Tanaan Jungle was interesting to play back in the day as it was very hostile, but nothing to see here tbh. In Legion I didn't really like locations. Highmountain is really cool and has some grizzly hills vibe to it. West part of Valshara has some very cool grim and eerie tone to it. Azsuna just meh. Stormheim is NOT howling fjord 2.0. I just didn't felt that, not a fan of that zone. Suramar gorgeous, worth spending time there questing. But it mostly filled with enemies and I think it's wasted potential, like Shattrath. Broken shore - forget, it's trash. Argus - just most amazing sky since Outland. Mac'aree is beautiful and interesting. Other zones... almost generic demonic wastelands, a bit disappointing. All BFA locations are gorgeous, simply amazing, period. They may not be entirely unique, but they are just... wow. And questing there is nice. Norwington Estate gave me some Argent Tournament feeling. But it's just my opinion. Sadly didn't get to play Shafowlands yet.
Everness, please do next the Isles of Giant ! :3
Love your videos man, great visuals, great music to study to. Keep it up!
nice !
Highmountain...home
Underrated zone
My beloved Trueshot Lodge
You need to do one for Timeless Isle!
YAAASSSSS!!!
Part 4 is awesome
HIGHMOUNTAIN STANDS!

Trueshot Lodge, Hunters 4ever!
What instruments are being used at 16:00 anyone know?
Together, WE are Highmountain!
I always found it odd that the Highmountain tauren joined the Horde as an allied race, considering 4:31 is basically a rework of Anduin's theme. How cool would it have been to get Alliance tauren?
I miss legion
Me too! But it’s cool you can play it
Anyone else get that rare moose mob that was super fast but only in high mountain? Such a cool zone....
yeah i remember that toy it wasn't really rare tho
@@svenneeus936 rare as in silver portrait rare. nothing is that rare in wow lol
Fish soccer!
Is this the starting zone of the Highmountain Tauren in Battle for Azeroth?
Very briefly
This place reminds me a bit of Grizzly hills
"I am Mayla chieftain of the highmountain Tauren"
(I am just going of memory here)

Hey folks! Got recently interested in starting WoW, and there apparently seems to be a debate between WoW Retail and WoW Classic... Have to admit I do not quite get the difference between these two... Is the game Everness features WoW Retail?
WoW Classic is basicly the very first expansion that WoW launched. What is expansion? Look at it as a BOOK, every 2 years new additional book comes out. Expansion have its story, enemies, main villian (Boss), zones and last for 2 years until next expansion is released. When game progress to the next expansion you still get to play and expirience the previous expansion as it was but most of the time you will spend playing the current NEW expansion where the game is taking place, with new STRONGER enemies, new features, new villian, new story that upgrades on the previous. When another 2 years pass you get 3rd expansion and 4th and so on. Now Classic WoW is the very first expansion of WoW which was released back in 2004-2006 it is released once again for the purpose of oldschool players and nostalgia with the very same content. With that being said keep in mind that game was released in 2004 and graphics and animations are DULL and OLD. Now Retail WoW the current WoW is the point where story progressed over the years so 17 years that is 8 expansions in total. Now you will go mostly through all expansions on your journey to reach the endgame where the game is curently taking place. Keep in mind that over the years game has evolved in some aspects such as graphics, animation and its much more DYNAMIC than Classic WoW but also devolved in STORY. Classic WoW is slow, hard and frustrating at times but it catches the true essence of WoW which was lost over the years and that is ATMOSPHERE, getting to know community, cooperation and friendliness are IMPORTANT. Many players will tell you myself included that Classic WoW outshines the current Retail WoW. Hope this help!
- Classic WoW (Vanilla WoW) 2004-2006
1. The Burning Crusade (TBC) 2006-2008
2. Wrath of the Lich King (WOTLK) 2008-2010
3. Cataclysm (CATA) 2010-2012
4. Mist of Pandaria (MOP) 2012-2014
5. Warlords of Dreanor (WOD) 2014-2016
6. Legion 2016-2018
7. Battle for Azeroth (BFA) 2018-2020
8. Shadowlands 2020
--------------------
Retail WoW 2004-2021 includes all 8 expansions mentioned above even Classic (Vanilla) WoW.
- Better graphics and animations, more features, more dynamic than Classic WoW.
Classic WoW (Vanilla WoW) 2004-2006. Start from begining, better story, better atmosphere, better community.
@@naer3513 Thank you so much for this detailed answer! ;p
@@naer3513 nah, classic wow is easy, near inexistent mechanics and rotations, just boring to leveling if you dont care about lore and enviroment, in 2004 everything was new = hard.
Highmountain 6 is Drogbar music, i guess.

Should have more night scene with the magnificent galaxy looming in the sky. Shame that most are day time
Partially because in WoW almost every zone look significantly worse during night time, especially the color palette, and partially because at the time of the recording the night sky was dominated by the Argus projection.
@@Everness1 I disagree. The night time in WoW is amazing. But Argus in thr sky I don't like!
Could you do a Shal'aran one. I know you have a Suramar one but Shal'aran has different music.
Everything from Shal'Aran will be included into Suramar video. I've made the playlist already and, if I recall correctly, there are no specific tracks playing there.
Sweet, can't wait for Suramar. The sheer beauty, musically and graphically, of that zone makes me long for a return of that slow camera pan.
2:35 God.

if you climb to Highmountain Peak, you can see for yourself that Azeroth is flat!

Having never played WoW, this reminds me a lot of Skyrim.
17:17 - 18:38 reminds me of Tupacs “California”
Lolling down Roflmountain.
Honestly, I didn't really like the place, even though I like taurens and all native american related stuff, the main quest was just boring compared to the other zones way more tragic drama (like Ysera). But god fucking damnit, this zone's musics is by far the best in this extension!!
Wanna see some Indian? Go to Highmountain, you'll see the pride of the eagle warriors
What a boring and uninspired music. Completely forgetable.
