FYI bootlegs come with the same UPC/Bar codes all the time. The best way to check is with the runout/matrix codes
Very insightful, thank you so much for commenting! I’m going to make sure to include the matrix code details into a CZcams Short. I want these videos to have the ability to serve as a “bootleg check” for any vinyl buyers purchasing from unknown sources and sellers. Seen so many get scammed over the years into buying Frank Ocean records thousands of dollars just for them to be fake, and I feel for their frustration. It’s sad to see. It’s even more upsetting seeing record stores sell bootlegs either unknowingly, or not letting the customer know that it is a bootleg.
