Te cuento que hice el procedimiento que explicaste en el video sumergiendolo en vinagre y fue una solucion excelente!!!!!! Gracias. Muy bueno tu aporte !!!!
I have wondered about this product and been doing some research. Basically it's two pieces of stainless steel mesh with electricity connected. one vire to each mesh pice. (+ and - ) and a gap between the two mesh pieces that makes tiny micro bubbels when turned on. How effective it is i am unsure of.what would you say trutfully?? from a scale of 1 to 10 there 10 is the best. Oh and you dont have to buy a new "reactor" when its used up,,just change the mesh inside with high grade stainless steel mesh and it's as good as new.
I always used vinegar to clean mine and after 2 years I noticed no bubbles coming out of it. So I took it out and upon examination found out the top mesh was ok but the bottom mesh was brittle and fell apart. I made my own mesh screens out of stainless steel splatter screen and replaced the ones in my reactor and now it works same as when I bought it .
Thanks. I’d rather use your method than use bleach. How often do you clean it with vinegar? Do you leave it running 24/7? If not how long do you have it on for? Do you take it out and rinse in aquarium water with each water change?
I could really use some help with troubleshooting. I bought two of these online for my 360 gallon planted aquarium. They don’t come with a troubleshooting guide. Both have worked great for 2 weeks. Today one started beeping continuously. I went to check it and it seemed very warm compared to the other one next to it. I unplugged it completely and plugged it back in 3 hours later. It started beeping again and doesn’t stop. It’s like it’s stuck. No circular lights, no lights at all. I have tried holding the power button down, nothing… Can you suggest what to do? Thanks I could really use some help trouble shooting. One of mine decided to do nothing but beep after a week of use. No lights come on, no spinning lights, nothing. It just continues to beep constantly. I have unplugged it for over several hours. I could really use some help trouble shooting. One of mine decided to do nothing but beep after a week of use. What's the brand of the device you are using. I want to buy. I never use it before. My fish tank alot of algae. It is green water after 3 days changing water
j'ai fait exactement la même chose avec le miens toute la nuit dans du vinaigre blanc mais il ne refait pas les mêmes petites bulle j'ai un tout petit filet de bulle :(
Honestly. When I got this one, I was very sceptic. However there was good off price so decided to try. Had really hard troubles with algae. Less than in a week there was noticeable result. In a month NO more algae. Chemically its the same as to put CO2 system.. just less complicated and cheaper.
Thanks for your comment! Not that I have ever noticed: I haven't ever seen any damage on the cable. It doesn't get rid of ALL the crust, and the crust builds up a bit faster than when the unit is new, but it is a good way to save some money on these parts.
Beautiful Tank! I have a 15 gal Nano and I also love this Chihiro Doctor. Works Miracles!

Cool, just getting to the point, that was great information, Thank you, have a good day
Great video, very helpful
many many thanks for your kindly helping now I know how can I clean
If you also dip that in a cup of lemon sprite and leave it there of a couple of hours it will help remove all the calcium. I also have one too.
HI i use citric acid food grade and leave it over night and check i may get some white vinigar and try it your way
Thanks
suggest to add one tea spoon of Lemon Salt, it will have the same effect on the deposits with less effect on the mesh!!!
Great alternative cleaning method!
I just got one of these. Now I now how to clean it!!

Awesome 👍🏼
why you use this technical for tank
"chihiros" in spanish with the rolled r is the best pronunciation!

una pregunta . eso funsiona con toda clase de algas ? saludos desde windsor ontario
Si
is it really effective in controlling algae ? how many hours a day to use it ?

@@aarafin This is not anywhere close to being the same as using Co2. It's producing Ozone and Oxygen.
does the vinegar corrode the plastic or the rubber of the cable ?

hi how many hours must use this in a day
Until the crust comes off , between 15 min. to 2 hours
Is 2 hours enough to soak the plate?
It depends on the amount of crust your plate has... check it after 2 hours and then decide how much longer you need to soak it. :)
how much voltage is in it?
There is no information in the box, manual, or machine itself regarding voltage. Funny, I thought by law voltages had to be marked. :-/
I live in Canada and mine uses 120 Volts A.C. input, I took my volt meter and it outputs 15 Volts D.C. at 2 Watts to the mesh screen.
Because of this my aquarium water getting brown color
Que líquido le echas?
Hola! Sólo uso vinagre y lo dejo remojando unos 15 minutos. Gracias por tu comentario y saludos! :)
Paris Escandón que clase de vinagre? blanco, tinto...
Blanco, del comun y corriente que se compra en el super mercado :)
Paris Escandón se calienta el vinagre o sin calentar?
Did u mix vinegar with water? Like 5% vinegar 95%water?
No, I used pure white vinegar (5% acetic acid as sold at the supermarket)
