#runescape #runescape3 #Zuk - Hry
Hardmode Zuk is NOT an easy encounter, but it's not as hard as you may think! It's all about luring each wave correctly to mitigate the damage you take. This guide will break down each wave (with timestamps in the description) to show you exactly how to lure each wave safely to complete this run in a single encounter!
Let me know how learning Hardmode Zuk is going for you!
I had made a comment on a short of yours saying I was about to get my brid cape using range and thanks to you and your videos I was able to get my brid cape. Keep up with the good content!!
Heck yeah dude congrats!!
Best zuk video I've seen. thank you for sharing!
27:30 cleanest bladed dive switch ever performed in rs3
Only slick moves here 😎
I got my HM Zuk cape thanks to you. Thank you so much. Once I learned to manage familiar health, safe spot locations it was pretty easy.
I took Pillar phase super slow. Even used the Endurance relic so I could make sure I had Disruption Shield or Res always up.
Big thanks man! Got my flawless run completed today after a few close attempts. I used ECB with onyx/hydrix bolts for this and used blights for the first DPS challenge - which was by far the hardest part (for me) for getting the flawless. I used a yak and still had heaps of food left over. Only thing I needed was a super energy flask for that final phase with the pillar. Only other thing I would note was for the igneous wave for people who aren't as good as you with all the different styles, I started in the north safe spot with the melee, work your way around anti clockwise and leave the LVL 240 mage alive so you can get in front of Zuk and get your adrenaline built back up and get ready for the challenge waves without having them all re spawn and attacking you. Its a bit slower but more chill to make sure you get those challenges done. Got a magma tempest codex and a scripture of Ful in my 10 runs before getting the flawless. =P thanks again! This is a really good guide for anyone wanting to attempt with range and I'm relieved I didn't have to buy fsoa and crypt to get this cape
Huge dude, grats on the cape and the sick drops!
Saved to Watch Later. Thank you, I'm sure this is another great one.
I'm about to go into my first Zuk HM attempt. Even though I will be using mage as I do not own gear or have any experience with range, I have to say I clicked this video out of curiosity and it has ended up being the most well spoken and understandable guide out of the ones I watched.
its been a month how did it go
Great guide for someone like me, Thank you for this
Super interesting to see your speed using the reaver method. I know this wasn't your fastest run, but using a yak myself and going on vamp aura, I still have over 100% acc on Zuk and my times are only a little slower on average near the 31-33 min mark. The yak makes recovering after a bad lure or lava wall much easier. I'm not sure exactly what it'll take to get down to a 20 min kill for 3kph, but it's nice to see that casual kills with a yak are still comparable kph to some of the other more damage oriented methods.
The best guide everything u said flawless
About what i do for my range zuk hm just i did not know some of the little details like being able to safe spot the mage dog, this is really encouraging me to do zuk again :D
Jump into it!!
Awesome guide! I would like to get my zuk cape without relying on animate dead so this is a great watch. I would like to ask if you think it's possible to do the flawless run in normal mode without greater ricochet and without a ranged zuk cape?
In normal mode 100%, hard mode would probably be tough without grico
If you're used to mage just use that without animate the deadline.
Mage out dps range without gricco
Damn this man is an actual gamer
You already know 😤
I've took the time to watch the whole thing. It's very detailed, in some points overly so. What I'm trying to say is that it's too many details to remember. What works best for me is general rules, like how you did for the fire waves, instead of step-by-step when the fight is so long.
I'm planning to do it in the future, but I think I'll try my hand with Animate Dead, in hopes of a more laidback experience. We'll see.
Since I don't have the Blessed Flask, I'll also see how the Powder of Penance does to keep my prayer up, alongside Vampyrism aura. This whole combo should grant me enough survivability so I don't have to mind my stats that much.
I understand where you’re coming from, it’s honestly a tough balance to address. I try to keep it general in the lures that I’m doing, because that’s primarily where a majority of your success comes from. So long as you lure correctly, you prevent a majority of the damage, and you can truly handle the mobs how you’d like to. This was also my idea behind the first challenge, I didn’t give a specific rotation, but I mentioned which abilities could deal with 1 minion entirely and to diversify your damage.
Some people prefer specifics in rotation, which I also understand because RuneScape has a very odd combat system with the way ticks affect it, and I know that I personally hit a point where I needed specific advice.
All in all, Zuk is a very lengthy encounter, and this guide is bound to be extremely detailed due to how many waves and possibilities there are.
@@RheyoRS it's a great guide, and I'll definitely use it. I'm not gonna remember the details of each wave, but I have a general idea of what to do, I'll just wing it
By the way, is run energy a concern at high agility levels during the conduit phase?
It was when I did it with melee, but with range I burst down the conduit fast enough to not worry about it. I imagine that would be the case with magic too as you can dps and run simultaneously. With melee though I brought a mint cake to help with the run energy issue.
Knowing what you know now, would you use the poison build and vampirism for the waves, then swap to ful and reckless/inspiration for zuk?
For a singular kill I don’t see why not, only concern is doing enough dps during the special challenge waves. If I intend to farm Zuk then probably not as that would be a waste of the aura.
would you recommend swapping the chins/off-hand switch for a decimation?
Chins I’d say are easier if you have the offhand. Decimation has a big adrenaline cost, but it could work if you have it. A chaotic crossbow would be a fine offhand for chins though, and chins don’t require ammunition.
great guide
i did it! got the cape
Huge! Congrats 🙌🏼
Strongly recommend penance aura too ^ , great video
Gonna have to try to do this in Tect. Got 100+ HM in 3+ Crypt/ FSoA w/ Mammoth. Recently learn HM Kerapac in Tect. I usually beat Zuk went the timer doesn't keep track anymore, around 40 minutes.
Give it a shot!
can you use EOF decimation instead of chins or is it not worth it?
You probably could, chins may be easier to manage since it’s not limited by time and cost no adren. Accuracy isn’t much of an issue
Hi wery nice video 👌
Thank you!
what relic powers are you using with this method?
Fury of the Small, conservation of energy, and death’s ward
"My first ever flawless run was with melee"
Holy shit
😂 it was not the cleanest kill
how do you keep reaver alive with scrolls?
I use ancient spell book swap and use crystal of restoration when needed.
I'd say, if you're only after the Hybrid Zuk Cape (and willing to do "whatever it takes"), just go with Cryptbloom and Animate Dead (a.k.a "The Helmet Style").
It will take slightly longer but your chances of survival are higher.
If you actually want a challenge, try Ranged and aim for a Flawless run.
If you're after an Insane, Insane challenge do it with Melee. Triple Melee Jads are a lot of fun.
I was fine doing this... Until zuk. Just can not do him for sht
Well, if you can get to zuk then you can practice the fight at least!
what do you have trouble with?
@@zeldapro18 pizza the fire kills me.
When I get to zuk I have like no food left
Take your time on Zuk. Bladed dive really helps a lot during pizza phase, but is not required. As you’re going into the mechanic, freedom/anticipate, face zuk and surge + run to the left. He’ll always place you the same distance away from the minion, no matter where he starts you in the arena, the movement will always be the same. As for his mechanics, flick your prayers accordingly and soul split back the damage. So long as you can do this, you’ll be able to sustain yourself the entirety of the zuk fight for as long as you’d like.
@@thegamingnetwork666 this is the part I failed the most in NM. But I eventually got all 3 capes.
If you cant obtain this cape on the squeal of fortune i dont want it
Lol.
Good joke, bad take.
u trade wildy cape against dye?
