The final chorus is actually different from the rest of the song so you don’t get as bored compared to the broadway version where it’s the exact same thing over
Harvey Weinstein, that pervert, didn't like Jeremy in the role, he felt Jeremy wasn't right for the part because he was too young. Plus he wasn't as well known as Matthew Morrison at the time and that is who Weinstein wanted because he felt Morrison would fill more seats the Jeremy.
I love this version of the show, was it the original ART production. I just saw the touring company and it was not nearly as good. I love all the principles, especially Jeremy Jordan and the Sylvia LD (who was the actress?) and the choreography of this version.
Can anybody tell me where did this performance take place? I haven't seen the Broadway version yet, but I've strated to listen to it, and the songs are not the same, are they?

Ugh it's a significantly worse show now. One of the oldest rules in the theatre is not to have a live animal onstage. When I saw the show the dog was licking his balls by the bench for 4 minutes. Can you guess what people watched?
Wasn't there two other creatures to that rule? One of them was babies/very young children and there was something else but can't seem to remember it. But the dog looked very well trained from the little snippets I've seen of the newer production so I don't think it would do anything too distracting.

This was the preview run in Boston. When they transferred to Broadway they gave the role to Matthew Morrison and changed a lot of the show.
