Basically Vidor is a Sundown city .. Even today 2024 Vidor is very very racist. You will NOT find one black family living in Vidor, regardless you will NOT find one black person living in Vidor.

It is shocking how high the crime rate is in some Texas cities and communities. For some reason the reputation Texas has seems it would make the crime rates really low. Unfortunately with the increase of population also comes crime. Sad, Texas just seems it should be more on the ball about crime. All the growth will eventually leave if safety becomes an issue and all the hype will go broke.
