🔺 The Polytechnical Museum is one of the oldest scientific and technical museums in the world, located in Moscow on New Square. It was founded in 1872 at the initiative of the Society of Lovers of Natural Science, Anthropology and Ethnography with the active participation of Moscow University professors Grigory Shchurovsky, Anatoly Bogdanov and August Davidov. The collections are based on the collections of the 1872 Polytechnic Exhibition.

🔺 The monument was opened on May 24, 1992 (on the Day of Slavic Written Language and Culture) near Slavyanskaya Square. The sculptor of the monument is Vyacheslav Klykov, the architect is Yuri Grigoriev.
The monument is dedicated to Cyril and Methodius - enlighteners, creators of the Slavic alphabet, who preached Christianity and performed services in the Slavic language. The monument consists of statues of two brothers holding a cross and Holy Scripture.

And I even envy everyone who comes here for the first time) Moscow is so great and multifaceted - everything in it can be found and rediscovered again and again! My husband and I recently really wanted to change the situation, but we didn't want to go far, so we chose the Royal Zenith Hotel and paid off. The hotel is located in the protected area of Serebryany Bor, surrounded by pine trees and a beautiful view of the river. I was very pleased with the Spa complex on the territory of the hotel - after a working week, what you need. Friendly staff, delicious cuisine - we recommend!

Modest neighborhood, very much contrasting with Moscow Financial center for example. I'm glad about it, but: How come so many Churches and Monasteries survived the Communist Regime? I like Clean Ponds Park, it looks like a pleasant and relaxing place. Good walk my friend, greetings..!!

Each street had the church before the revolution. What is left is a small part. Some of the churches were converted in to public buildings. Recently their status returned.

It is “modest” only compared to the Moskva City. But it is a very historical area and extremely expensive in terms of property prices.

Мне полюбились в последнее время ролики одного вашего коллеги. Вот, вроде бы, вы гуляете по одним улицам, а впечатления от съёмок разные.
