The regular Iron Thorns looks so much better imo, good for me I guess because I don't need to chase the AR. I really like Nakamura
Future support is still not as competitively viable as Ancient support and Iron Thorns can't even be teched into Miraidon, so it's hard to feel excited for it. We need to see more trainers/supporters from this set.
I mean, the set has not been revealed too much yet, so we'll see

Yayyy I knew it was very likely but it’s nice to see them getting an art rare. Now we’ll have to see if all swords of justice and beast trio also get theirs. Usually we get 6 SARs in double sets so it would have to be 100% them and idk how likely that is. They could leave an AR for two of them later on ig but still nervous bc just like ultra beasts these Pokémon have almost no chance of appearing once we’re in gen X
And apparently it’s a bit of a hot take but that Flutter Mane art is absolutely ridiculously good. These 2 artists are so so so good
the Ultra Beast there is so much they can do the paradox pokemon not so much they had huge potential and endless possibilities but instead if the actually being related to the pokemon they look like they simply just look like it meaning that they are just lazy designs
@@anakinsmith4770 meh I disagree dont think they are "lazy" designs I wish you never have to work on a creative related job with heavy deadlines. But that aside Im not even a huge fan of the paradox thats not even my point. I could hate them and still feel like this is their time to shine, let them shine during the SV era during THEIR era, there are people that like them anyways
@@Hesketh32 these people also probably liked all the strikes another bad gimmick. deadline the handed off BDSP to someone else but somehow still ended up with such a broken game with a serious lack of direction and diversity in pokemon and trainers. aren't you sick of the lying of we can't put everything in but then add more under a pay wall pokemon is turning into genshin impact and i wouldn't be half suprised if a wishing system is added next
@@anakinsmith4770 not gonna pretend I understood what you just said lol. But you're mad there's DLC...? Which a lot games and series do (and in some cases people get mad there isnt like TOTK, PLA and 3Hopes to mention a few). And its not like oh the DLC fixes the flaws kind of deal, bc it doesnt.

Personal opinion, the future pokemon and these crystal forms do not fit pokemon in any way. This is not digimon, it is pokemon. Pokemon are supposed to be creatures/monsters, not Mechagodzilla vs Mothra. I really feel disconnected from Pokemon since these paradox thing. I think the design is going in a totally wrong and sensless direction. I also do not recognize the Johto dogs abominations with giraffe Raikou nd Velociraptor Suicune. Its like a 2 year old designed these abominations... Anyway, this is only my subjective opinion.
I think I like scarlet and violet base more than this set. Not impressed with this set so far. My 5 year old nephew could draw a better card than that!
I really don't care for alt-arts tbh. I miss the OG arts from base set until diamond and pearl., these styles of arts... The alt-arts just aren't that cool as they were in the beginning imo! Give us gold stars or something, that was actually unique!

@@bram1nabuurs471 base set art. Sime people might look at them with nostalgia or maybe not. But personally I dont like a vast vast majority of base set art. Just early on in general of TCG life Im not a fan of a lot of those cards. Just looking at the art of Iron thorns artist here, the Sharpedo the Greninja absolutely stunning art
@@Hesketh32 yeah Im primarily talking about the arts from gym heroes/challenge, ereader sets and ex sets! These art styles were great imo. Gold stars like treecko, mudkip, torchic are absolutely amazing. The shiny cards they release now have stars as a background… kinda lazy 🥲
@@Hesketh32 I just don't get why they don't reprint a set every year for the OG fans, it would sell like crazy. Original booster boxes and arts, packs. It would be a gold mine... they've never done it sadly.... I would just buy that set every year and be fine with whatever they do with the modern sets lmao
