There are plenty of restaurants, both with seafood and meat options. In Ponte Delgada for meat we loved Restaurante Alcides and for general Portuguese food A Tasca!
Outside of Ponta Delgada, we recommend Bar Caloura, that locals rsuggested to us. It has a great sea view and fresh food options. We went back twice in 4 days:)
