I mentioned pledging to the KS with a friend because I was so stoked to grab my own Reaver blade and he was like, "oh no KS too risky", and I was like, "yeah but maybe not so much when the project gets 8 times its request in the first hour."
Ultimately I'm happy with this as it is, but I'd be so happy if the demonstration of interest revives the game series.
Cannot wait for the soundtrack! Celldwellers version of ozar midrashim slaps so hard I nearly travelled to nosgoth myself

I remember playing that Soul Reaver lighthouse demo over and over and OVER. Been in love with the entire series ever since. Can't wait for TDSR.

Legacy of kain should have had a load of books and different stuff come out it's like the lord of the rings and Harry Potter. The story of all the games could easily have so many different books telling the stories of each character on each timeline. The sarafan, the , ancient vampires, demons, knights, wizards, prophecies there is just so much to delve into
Man some novels would be cool
I'd be down to contributed for the soundtrack. Literally anything. Been on board since Blood Omen 1. Beyond the Maelstrom of the Abyss;)
I completely feel him on not liking modern day multi player games.
I've said this for years starting when I was a Teenager that the Gaming Industry traded Dated Graphics with Phenomenal Stories that could be Masterpieces in their own right with some glitches that give it Charm that you officially owned after purchase; for this Updated arguably Maxed Out Graphics with Shit Story Telling and a half finished dumpster fire of a product on release that needs to be patched but even still after the patch it didn't fix anything despite the dan base out cry which you "rent" at the end of the day.
Society as a whole lost out when gaming lost its Shakespearean/Homer style plots and writing. I grew up on that literature which improved my writing, reading and spelling. It turned so many kids in to future writers, designers, musicians etc
I pledged to this and i am sitting down to watch the interview. I really really hope this isn't made for "modern audiances" in mind.

I have been waiting for a new game since the Nosgoth closed beta back in 2013ish. Huge fan of the franchise since 2003 Defiance. The show was great btw.
Actually, that's a really good point because the production is largely being backed by backers, so it would be so disrespectful for them to turn around and do this. That being said, so far, it doesn't look like its been compromised by identity politics.
