Ey Iran" is an Iranian nationalist song that serves as the country's unofficial national anthem.

Lyrics: Hossein Gol-e-Golab
The song's history dates back to World War II in Iran.
After the Revolution of 1979, several people were imprisoned for collaborating in the preparation of this anthem, and reading it was considered a crime, but after a while, it was used to provoke soldiers in the Iran-Iraq War, and it was released.

Hello and thanks for your kindness but this is not Anthem of Iran and never was.This is the patriotic anthem of Iran. The national anthem of Iran is Mehr KhavaranOf course, this song is very popular with us Iranians

Hi, Thank you for your comment, we enjoy your videos as well.
The Iranian in this end of the world never recognized the Mehr Khavaran as the National Anthem of Iran, and they accepted Ey Iran anthem, as the true Iran's National Anthem for the past 40 years.
For your info, the Iranians, in exile, all around the world always play and sing this anthem almost in every major Iranian events, while standing with their right hand on their heart.
