I think what he said about not finding the best taco is relatable to all foods. You will never have a better one from your childhood and or a time in your life where you had nothing else and you could barely afford it but it made your life so much better.

Bet you'd learn Spanish in no time when you can only order in Spanish ...unless you get someone in line to help you. There are many people especially Americans who live/lived in Mexico and can speak Spanish no problem. When I went to Lima Peru if took me 2 months before I basically knew how to get around , order food and buy just about anything on my own while when you reach that point your learning of the language just picks up as at that point you've seen the results yourself when you try to pick up a language in a foreign country for months.

Living in Mexico is the greatest thing.
Yeah, the economy is bad, yeah there is corruption, etc.
But the relaxed quality of life, people are happy even without much, the food is fantastic, the warmth of the people.
Unlike the US, people like robots everyday, home- work work-home, slaving away to pay bills, credit cards, etc.
    Como Mexico no hay 2

that's why i plan on moving back to the philippine islands to utilize our remaining lands there once i have enough money, imma just chill at beach underneath the shade of the coconut trees and supervise the maintenance my farm lands, maybe fish for my own food too, to just get away from all this stressful life where everyone is out for themselves. everyone is out to compete who has more LOL. i know exactly what you mean, although im grateful for my parents bringing me here to this great country, nothing beats "home" and the simple life now that i got a taste of this life, guess we all have different priorities and perspectives on life, you just have to find out what's important. best of luck to you all

It's made in that shape so the heat concentrates in the middle and the grease drips to the sides so the other meat can keep cooking in its juices. It's pretty common in these type of taquerías in Mexico City.

Jewish people love brisket. So I look at that like Mexican pastrami. So thanks for making me want to go to Mexico again. I bet that's one of the spots were no matter what everyone just leaves each other alone as they conjure in a disorganized fashion, waiting for the cook to bless them as if it was a religious event.
Smiling while they count the amount of tacos each one can shove in their body.
