I think it’s a crypto product. When you use the device, you also share bandwidth with other people so deeper connect doesn’t need its own VPN servers
The company has been around for 4 years and their network has been expanding continuously. I think part of their plan is to include monthly subscriptions for new users once they have created a big and robust enough network. At the moment they are present in more than 150 countries.

@@SalmanHussainI have one. There is more to the way that this connects to you and uses your connection. I'm not going to go into it but once I found out what this actually does to my connection I sold it on eBay. I was waiting for a while on Kickstarter to receive this.

Wonder if it would work to use online betting app. VPN doesn’t work.
It should, if you are on Full Route and using incognito mode on browser, then there shouldn't be a problem (as long as you dont have to povide proof of residence to create an account).
So if im a VPN, then someone can use me to do illegal stuff? Or maybe even gain access to my stuff?
There are a bunch of options it offers, also you can choose to reject dangerous connections, there's also a deny list you can set up within the software. If anyone does anything illegal the device can prove it wasen't you.If you want you could turn off bandwidth sharing if u dont want to share.

I see a lot of sarcastic comments below, please understand that this is a project under development. So far it has placed more than 100k nodes all around the world. Yes it is not open source, but it will eventually become open source. It is not free, but their plan is to eventually lower the cost of the devices to almost zero.
Please also be aware of the fact that this represents the future of the Internet. This goes beyond your regular VPN service, although the device can be use as such, the main purpose of this project is to create a decentralized Internet where users can be the real owners of their data and where they can truly protect their privacy.
The project is in its development phase and it is expanding. Please also remember that when you do not pay for something, you are the product.
what's the end goal with this? ISPs, government, etc. just start to ignore sketchy/illegal traffic because of how likely it is being routed from somewhere else?
For now this appeals only to criminals and web3/crypto/cyberpunk obsessed hipsters, even for the internet-paranoid I don't see how this is of benefit

Hey, I've been using Deeper Device's for over 2 years now. From using them myself I can say they have been nothing but good to me, if you really look at what they are doing its pretty cool.
well, they have like 100k units around the world, and it really works. You can see content that is geoblocked in your area.
Why people will not need a Decentralized VPN? A lot of people use cheap unsafe VPNS. You get what you pay for, and if you do not pay for something, you become the product.
Deeper connect mining was just crypto staking with extra steps. This side is just VPN with a hardware requirement...more steps.
More risky steps with not enough in return. This doesn't protect you like a good VPN does. People need to research the pros and big cons of this product
I've been using the products for mining and as VPN and firewall. It works great. The mining is just a misused terminology in crypto, because this is not actual mining, it is a reward for sharing your bandwidth and providing nodes.
The IPs of regular VPN are know by the websites and you get blocked. And they sell your data...how is that safe?
