It's just creepy that the mother-in-law keeps pressuring her son's ex-wife to remarry the cheating scumbag, simply because the mistress was rejected. No woman who has been betrayed by her husband is going to have any feelings for him, much less want to remarry him just because his girlfriend turned out to be a liar. The ex-husband is the problem, after all. He is still a selfish jerk and his poor wife not only put up with him, she was abused by the mother in law during the marriage. No woman with any self respect is going to willingly go back into that kind of hell!
