@@maeve6363 yes they can be, but never impossible. just last week when she took a pregnancy test she said that she felt kinda sad it wasn't positive, that mentality alone speaks volumes. maybe she just has a mild case, but who knows right?
and when I said "mentality" I didn't mean it in a bad way. there are three leading theories for phantom pregnancy. Some mental health professionals believe it's related to an intense desire or fear of becoming pregnant. It's possible that this affects the endocrine system, which in turn causes symptoms of pregnancy. thats what I meant.
Also just symptoms of fluctuating hormonal levels (or slight hormonal imbalances) as part of a natural (non birth control) menstrual cycle. Would be hugely beneficial for her to tract her cycle. In that way allowing her to know when ovulation is taking place and when these hormonal shifts occur and how 'symptoms' correlate.
COLLEEN: if you ever see this. Please don’t say, “I don’t know why you still watch me.” Watching you is like catching up with a friend. It gets our minds off of things.

Have a Christmas themed day, put some decorations out, listen to Christmas music all day, bake Christmas cookies and watch holiday movies. Maybe make each other little gifts and dress up in onesies??

Hi Colleen, I thought you might be interested to know that a lot of these “pregnancy” symptoms you’re having are also very much so symptoms of anxiety. Night sweats, dizziness, shortness of breath, the weird out of body/nothing seems real moments...even excessive peeing. It might seem unbelievable, but you might find it helpful to google atypical anxiety symptoms. You’ll be surprised what you find. It might set your mind at ease a little(at least about being pregnant 🙂) Hope this helps.
i almost just typed the same thing. Ive been diagnosed with anxiety and these symptoms are all issues I've dealt with.

My anxiety symptoms are more like, heart palpitations, nausea, heavy breathing/not being able to breathe. So you really taught me something here, literally had no idea people had symptoms like these with anxiety

I highly doubt you'll see this, but if you do, I recommend that you get your thyroid checked! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's disease after I had my daughter, and some of the symptoms were pregnancy-like. It could definitely be your body telling you that your hormones are off too.

Theme: culture day , you try a bunch of different things from other cultures for a day
my sister in law and i did this “around the world” type thing for my nephew. we had different types of activities and snacks for each “country” in different parts of the house (making maracas out of stapled paper plates and rice for spain, spaghetti for dinner in italy, etc) and he had a lot of fun (and yay for culturally enriched toddlers)

I met her near the theater when she toured my city and she asked if I was coming to the show/ VIP and I said I couldn’t afford it and she LITERALLY took my name and told me VIP tickets would be waiting for me at the box office so I got to see her show and wow I was a blubbering mess. I’ll never forget that wonderful day and how sweet she was to me.

Hey Colleen, I don’t know what other weird “pregnancy” symptoms you’re having, but as a healthcare provider, one if the “red flag” questions we ask every patient is if they experience night sweats. It is most likely nothing, but if this is a persistent problem, and you are experiencing other symptoms, I would recommend getting it checked out just to be safe. I know the world is a scary place right now, but doctors offices are taking every precaution possible. Please don’t take any of this the wrong way. I do not know everything. I just think that if things don’t seem right, it’s always a good idea just to check.

You could do like a pirate theme, so maybe you have some kind of a map and you’d go around the house to different spots on the map and see things and then once got to the end there would be some kind of treasure, y’all could also make a ship somehow for the pool, and then at the end of the day you could have a big feast!

A theme park where you and Eric are like the rides and get different things for him to sit in while you push it or carry it. You could also make a wave pool by splashing or get a small kiddy slide that can go into the pool.
i’m a camp councilor and we’ve done carnival/circus/amusement park day for the preschoolers. they ADORE it.
I work at a recreation center and we used a giant parachute and made it the big top for circle time. Best. Day. Ever.
