I'm so glad I got one coming. It's my favorite shape of all time. Yeah, I'm excited to see how well the Gibraltar Performer bridge are. That's what comes on them.
Nice, Jerald. I usually don't like ceramic pickups as much as AlNiCo, but those do sound good. Like you mentioned, that Gibraltar bridge should be really good. I haven't actually handled one of these yet, but from what I've seen, heard, and read, they seem like great guitars. Especially for the price. 👍
Yeah, John they come with the Infinity R (H) in the neck and bridge. So, I will be changing mine out in this one with the ones that Paul uses eventually. I also want to put them in the Silvertone one that I have as well.
Hmm- I hope I take to it as well as you have- got one ont he way. I've always played Strats and Les Paul though- never tried one. They're cheap enough I figured it was worth trying- I trust Ibanez usually. I like having something different, but not enough to put up with a V or an Explorer- I don't care what anyone says, they're not comfortable to play sitting down. Which you can guess by looking at them, but everyone just kept telling me how surprised I would be- b.s. They both felt exactly like I thought they would- uncomfortable. The SG is comfortable- but ugly as sin- looks like the batman symbol to me. This looks bad ass, but comfortable- looks like it would be even better than a Strat or LP- the curve that sits on your thigh is wider and the lower cutaway looks like it would keep it from sliding around. Besides- I need a dual hb guitar- my LP is screwed up. I can't get it intonated- can't figure out why- never had this problem with it before.
My ps60 has a cracking noise in the neck joint when i change strings. And it always happens when i tune down the strings enough. What i the problem. Tried taking the neck in and out of its joint but it still has it

Yeah that guitar needs a nice pearloid or Arctic white variant.

Paul stanley didn't create the iceman i saw the guitar in a magazine but he perfected the design
Paul Stanley had nothing to do with the making of the Iceman, just his custom one.
