I thought I was going insane. I thought Bills lost possession, pass to Gronk with Romo talking about man and zone, then Patriots lost possession and Bills had it back, then they lost possession again to get Patriots the ball with a pass to Gronk and Romo still talking about man and zone.
I was like "Is Romo just continuing to rant about this???" then I realized it's the same play. Oops.

    • @brokenwave6125
      @brokenwave6125 Před 6 lety +3

Well for starters you have to actually catch the ball in bounds...which he didn't.
You have to touch both feet in bounds while having control of the ball.
He bobbled it around...finally gained control with one foot in, then the other foot touched out of bounds.
      No catch = No TD.
Just like the Steelers game. It was an incomplete pass at the goal line.
      No catch = No TD.

You think you are good but you should of lost to the Steelers and if they gave Buffalo the touchdown (which it was) then they would be winning at that point and had tons of momentum. The Patriots are a bunch of cheats. It's just not fair when refs keep giving you wins.

And since the video clearly shows that only his right foot touched in bounds, I know for a fact that there is enough evidence to overturn the play. It was incomplete. How can you say that there is not enough evidence when all the requirements for a complete pass were not satisfied.

I saw it the same way, Yon Pollu, but I wouldn't have taken the TD away from him. It was too close IMO. But if any close call goes in the Pats' favor, it's a national scandal. At least this one was legitimately disputable. Sick of hearing people who don't know the rules complain about the Steelers call. Now suddenly this call makes that call more in doubt in their minds, as if the rules changed from last week.

For example who's to say they do get the call and it's a touchdown and they still lose by 20 what then? There's still a reason why these guys haven't scored on this sorry Pats defense in the last 6 quarters. Due take that to consideration. So before you go calling names like "blind fan" I know one thing. Our defense is suspect but so are the Bill's against the Pats. We can debate all day but it doesn't matter. “29 total game winning drives aided by penalty”.... not sure where you got that number from but it makes no sense. For starters it would be physically impossible for that to be true if you are talking about this season because we’ve only won 12 games therefore by definition we have had 12 game winning drives. And last time I checked 29>12. Therefore I’m assuming you are referring to the Brady Belichick era in which case that number doesn’t really mean that much considering they have won roughly 230 since Brady took over. That means less than 15%(it’s closer to 10) of game wining drives have had defensive penalties. And honestly that seems below average if anything.

What bills fans like to ignore is the only reason they were able to get near the goal line at the end of the 2cd is they committed penalties that didn't get called on everyone of their drives. One time they held the same guy twice on 1 play and committed a hands to the face penalty. They also held Gronk on the drive where the Pats had to settle for only a fg and even Romo and Nantz said it was blatant that he did. You can argue not getting the TD was also bad for the Pats momentum but they still won. At the end of the day the Bills weren't winning once they got down because Taylor cannot beat you through the air and they can't catch up running every play when they are running out of time and the Pats, Lewis specifically, are running all over you.

No Bills fan should be shocked or upset because this is what is going to happen in games between these two teams until the league ends or the world ends whichever happens first

MaddenFootball Talk I do understand your feelings about it, but honestly the bills still cashed 3 points and had plenty of time to win the game, but they got stuck at 16 while the Patriots kept on making plays and reached 37 points...if the Bills have ambitions to be a playoff team and go deep into it, then they showed they are not mentally strong enough to do so, because the good teams keep on playing and they don't let a single play drag them down, or take the momentum away.

Forget the catch im sure this 4:30 was PI even though he caught it inbounds 4:48-4:50.
You can say it didn't matter because the Bills lost but im sure the patriots would have been in a different situation and more aggressive.
Which will put pressure on any offense in a tight games. The patriots can thank NY later for those early Christmas gifts.

Reece Savage They got away with that last week too. Martavius Bryant had to make a one handed catch in his td because the d back here his arm, and than in the last play the Patriots corner pushed Eli Rodgers to the ground. They literally had 2 penalities for 4 yards. That's beyond being a disciplined team.
