Oh I really love this! I can't wait to try it. Thank you for talking through your process. I'm new to watercolor (art in general) and every time I watch one of your videos, it's like your explanations unlock new ways of understanding the medium. And I really appreciate how you show such a huge variety of brushes and techniques. It's really helping me find my own style. Or at least what I enjoy painting.

Palm trees are my jam! Been doing them for about 3 years....not happy with any so I keep doing it again. (I have one on the go at.)...I guess I like one of them as I have one framed in my bathroom. I always love to watch tutorials. Thanks for that.
I'm not so fond of the abstract painting because I always want to add more detail and make things more complicated. Lol.this looks fun, though and great practice for mixing colors.Thanks Ellen 😊

Just a note...the tree is a palm. The leaves are called fronds! Pretty!

Yes, I like this type of video. I love trees. Is that brush the same as a dagger brush? In parts of London we have a few of these trees, so would be fun to paint them. Though they don't have coconuts

It’s a color by Daniel Smith. It’s a shadowish color.
It’s Neutral Tint. Really dark brown. You could mix your darkest brown with some black.
