Watercolor Palm Tree Painting Tropical Island

Hi everyone!
In this demonstration I am painting a shore of a small tropical island with Palm trees. It was inspired by a beautiful photo kindly provided by Jim Gardner (FB Landscape reference photos for artists).

I adjusted the composition to add light and draw attention to the front palm tree and removed the darkness to expose the background on the right.
In this demonstration I am using:
Paper: 300GSM 100% Cotton Saunders Waterford Rough
Brushes:
• 10mm Dainayw Squirrel Mop #5
• 6mm Dainayw Squirrel Mop #1
• #12 Perla
• #1 Black Velvet Script
Paints: Winsor Newton, Daniel Smith and Holbein
