5:47 “kinda like a side chick” that caught me off guard and immediately died 😂🤣
DANIEL LARIOS lmaooooo💀💀
SAMEEEE... had to pause it for a sec and see who said it first lol
@@onhel1679 I did same thing then came straight to the comment section 🤣
I usually wait till the end to like a video, but the moment you explained the camera focal length field of view... you won my heart! Thank you
Really appreciate you explaining 'why' you are clicking the things you're clicking!! Watched way too many tutorials that just whizz through and don't explain what the buttons do but 'just click it'
Agreed! I'm so happy I found her channel, I'm already learning so much
This projection technique just saved me years of carefully layering every objects in photoshop, thank you!
I love it when someone takes the time to explain the features and the overall idea behind them!
THAT. Was fucking epic... no AI, no Neural filter, no deoth map, just straight projection! 🤯
I can see the amount of effort you put behind your videos, I hope people appreciate that and you reach a wider audience, you deserve that. subbed!
MDMZ 🥺🥺🥺 thank you so much!!
My mind is blown because this method is going to save me so much time! Thank you for showing us your process, you make the absolute best tutorials for the effects I want to achieve
P Ah oh my gosh you’re too kind seriously thank you so much🥺🥺🥺
theres another way where you can do this in like 2 minutes
you got the real science of this 3D conversion. Its like talking about the 1s and 0s of life. I'm blown away.
Thank you so much for this! I've listened to this for like 50 times now because I cant seem to memorize the steps but I enjoy it everytime :)
Finally someone who explained it correctly with details for actions in an organized manner, thanks so much! Subscribed!
...I know this comment is coming in late, but this video just came in super clutch for a project I'm working on (still in the storyboard stage, thank goodness).
Thanks for taking your time to make and share this great info, I don't even know how many hours you may have saved me considering the route I was going to take.
Cheers from Louisiana!
WOW. I honestly have been trying to learn here and there After Effects especially the Parallax effect so I can make interesting videos for my own channel and the way you explain it here is the first time its finally resonated with me. thank you soo much for that :)
Wow... doing CZcams tutorials myself, I know how much work goes into this!! On the point explanation!! Just Wow!!
Giving props to the one from whos tutorial you learnd this stuff/the fundament for your tutorial is something nearly nobody does... very likeable :) great tutorial!
This is the literal mirror of the next level I've been meaning to take my collage art to. The way you teach is super digestable and insightful, thank you so much for this.
This is exactly what I've wondered how to do! Thank you Emonee!
Oh my gosh this technique is brilliant! Thank you so much!!
Terrific explanation of projection mapping, and well executed!
The shadow darkness and diffusion settings only affect cast shadows (as in, when an element lit by the spotlight casts a shadow onto another element. It doesn’t affect the falloff of the light itself.
Looking forward to seeing what you make next!
Thank you so much!!!
this is the best thing i have ever seen in after effects category
You are an amazing person/great teacher, "accept light OFF" I spent an hour with another tutorial and could not figure out why the image was so dark. Thank you.

Very nice technique! ... there are different ways to get a 3D look of a 2D Image, but this was new to me...Thanks so much!!!
This is awesome, thank you for sharing!
ik i’m late to this video, but for anyone who doesn’t have Photoshop (like me), there is still a way to generative fill backgrounds in After Effects. It should be just called “generative-fill layer” in the windows tab on the top. The way it works is it fills any space in the composition that is clear (i.e. there is no background/image there, etc.), so all you have to do is cut out the space you want to be filled in with generative fill, then solo the layer and press generate. (there is more to the process, so I would recommend watching a separate video to get the whole scoop)
I would recommend importing the same image two times. On one cut out the objects you want to be interactive using the pen tool, and on the other use the generative fill to remove it from the image. Then follow the steps in the video :)
This was amazing! Thank you Emonee!
Josh Cashman thanks for watching!!
I will need to turn two photos into 3D soon, and while this is the first video on the subject that I've watched - I will say I'm less intimidated. Thank you!
BEAST MODE. Thank you so much for this step by step tutorial

Thank you for your tutorials. They are fun to watch and since they are free to be honest it’s godsend during these trying times. I’ve never used after effects but you make it seem so easy. Do you have a beginners course?
DANIEL LARIOS yes!! I figured since I spent $100k on a degree I can pass down the knowledge for free! They have some courses on school of motion!

Esel NOTED!! Thank you❤️❤️❤️
LOL... did she say "kind of like a side chick". This line alone should make this video go viral. Good stuff.
I do recommend using a small falloff om the light to make it just a little more real
Great tutorial! Thank you!
Excellent!!
Great break down! You’re an AE master! You make it look easy but it’s quite complex! Lol

SNAPBACK 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️ thank you!!!
I did it , yay!~
Thank you for this tutorial! I've been having an issue each time I try this out where since my photo's depth is so far that I have to stretch each side really long to cover each dimension. For some reason, I can't cover each side as quickly and easily as you demonstrate. Not sure if I'm explaining that correctly, but any tips about that?
As always, fun and helpfull✌🏻
"like a side chick"🤣 I was gonna subscribe anyways, but when she said that, I clicked sub right away lol
Thanks ☺
This is amazing!!!!!!

I have to try this!
Carter Pierce doooo it🔥🔥🔥
You are good teacher. Wow! Start up classes 💵
Finally, got it working! Thank you! ❤️, lol at 5:48
2 small tips:
1- If you use the "Top" view, you would be able to make a perfect box by aligning the walls and floor without leaving any room for guess work.
2- If the image gets a bit blurry (It definitely will.), the best way to recover some definition is to - Go to "composition setting" - "3D renderer' - click the option button and change the "shadow map resolution" to 4000.
it looks very dark what shall I do?
@@amrit9249 - Create an adjustment layer - Apply the "Levels" effect - adjust the blacks and whites until you get a satisfactory result.
4:48 when she says "next we are gonna move to the original image" how can i do that?
@@yoo9558 you're not supposed to move anywhere just click on the 3d box option to make the image 3d and it'll appear on your 3d canvas
@@becomeabetteryou9459 yo I just used a white solid object ty for replying tho
thank you
I like your accent. Nice tutorial.
Please please please make more such tutorials and I want to learn this more for my music videos and need ideas to make your own customizable sets.
I promise to make more🥰
@@EmoneeLaRussaTutorials I am waiting anxiously and it means a lot.
I just cant wait to learn it.
Nice video! Your tips helped me a lot but I tried the last part about the solid walls but it didn’t work out. 2 walls and the floor are still white. Any suggestions? I work on after effects 2021
