It did pretty good but when we went int snow deeper than 4 or 5 inches it definitely has some trouble. All rc trucks usually have a hard time in the snow, so this one surprised me. Hope you enjoy the video.

Isn't it amazing what an extra set of tires will do?....then add in portals just makes an awesome rig.

Good stuff man. Momentum and wheel speed are certainly needed in the snow. (Six wheel drive doesn't hurt either 😉) Here in central WI it's plenty common for us. Haha.

Yeah, they are pricey. Ya never know, keep an eye out on marketplace, might be able to find one. My son likes hanging out and bashing them with me but the crawling he doesn't really have fun doing that. I will take whatever time I can get with him. My grandson just turned 1 so hopefully his eyes will light up soon with Pappy and his rc. Hahaha

I'm surprised you didn't try the 6s lipo again. You might even benefit a bit from the extra cold when it comes to overheating. Please try that when you get snow again :D Gj as always.
I definitely will try that. I took the sport out on 6s with the tracks but the video is very short and not the best. Should I upload that?

I drove my TRX6 in the snow and fried the motor in 3 minutes.

Did your hardware rust after that? Traxxas still doesn't make a kit for the trx6 only the trx4
Some of the screw have some surface rust but i usually spray it down with the air hose after runs like this. Then give it a little spray of wd-40 on the screws. Helps big time.
@@BuyitBreakitFixit ,hey thank you for responding. Especially so quickly. Thank you for letting me know that's a good tip. I will be sure to dry mine right away this coming winter. I'm not sure I want to run minebin water a bunch so I don't ruin the foams. But the snow oh yea all day. That looked like a blast. BTW how is your land rover Traxxas trophy coming along? I'm about to buy one myself.
If you want to run in water for a bit, I put little squares of black electrical tape over the air holes on the inside of the wheel. Just make sure to clean the wheel before, so it sticks. The screws is a simple fix, buy the stainless bolt kit for it. The Camel build has had some little items added to it but not much. It is on my to do list as it has been almost a year or two since I have run it. I will make a point to get it finished up.
