- Yamaha RS7000 samples the Elektron Syntakt to get some live hard techno. The effects like a gated reverb are added to give it more that old school vibe.

Oh yeah! I love this "old" beast, full of punch and nice features.
It does many things that are hard to do on modern machines. I love the midi delay
@@Expectaz Exactly. I love mine. All those old Yamaha machines had so much to offer.
Love my RS, the Control Delay master effect on its own, makes it a thing of beauty
Totally! It has features that some modern machines don’t indeed. I don’t understand why lol
@@Expectaz It struck me when I had a syntakt but could basically recreate the same on the old RS.. Gave it new life bf.
@@Expectaz Its strangely amusing, I used to tour with a friend doing small festifals and clubs back in 2008ish doing live techno, he used ableton and i had the RS. We were called The Inspectorz... Nade me smile with fond memories of Studio 56 up NOrth and partying on the side of Falkirk mountain nr Dunfermline, oldskool Froot Sound Systems.. #Goodtimes
@ComplexAutist That sounds like it was an amazing time! I also used to do that in these years. Techno and Psytrance mostly
@ComplexAutist Technically the specs of the rs7000 are very similar to the digitakt. 64mb of samples per project and grid based editing. Love this machine
very good techno !!!
which machine for a beginner please ?
It depends on what you want to do. I love the Akai Force especially if you already have experience with Ableton. Elektron boxes are really cool too. Syntakt, Digitakt is a great combo. All is subject to your personal preference of course
