Reminded of my mom watching your video...she used to add gasa gasa in the batter and make...she will be sitting in the terrace keeping the stove and cylinder on the terrace itself..we used to help her in drying the appalams...while drying,we will eat two/ten appalams😍..so yummy...

You said you need to keep lot of oil due to size of Vadaam. A small tip, when you remove from gas, just put a cut with a knife and cut into half or quarter as you wish. Then put on sheet. 🎉
