I had the same problem. You may have sorted it now. It occurs when the battery is fully charged with the X35 system, and needs a firmware upgrade ( a dealer-only job) to fix. However, if you can reduce the battery charge level to 96% or less, the bike will work OK. I connected mine to the phone app for about 10-12 hours, which did reduce the charge enough for the pink flashing light to stop. Now awaiting a proper firmware upgrade by a dealer - only charging to 75% at present.
Hello David. I'm glad to tell you that we solved this on the latest firmware update for X35 Systems, launched on September 2023.
So basically leave it in the house 😂 why can’t we update the bike via the app I have purple flashing light of death 🤷♂️
