The book of Enoch was excluded because the author is not verified and we cannot verify its authenticity either. It only appeared around 200bc the latest and the events that the author writes about cannot be confirmed as they are writing about preflood events that they weren’t witness too. Unlike the first five books that God revealed to Moses, enoch was not revealed by god. There are three Enoch books and they contradict God’s previous revelation. Book of Enoch calls Enoch the messiah which is false. This video is click bait and doesn’t site any authentic scholars or findings.
It’s full of fallacy and contradictions. I figured this was going to be about this book when I saw the title. Should have known better.
@@WhoGitDaBiscuit I agree with this, however, I have a copy of this book (Ken Johnson). The book was published in 2012. No, it's NOT Scripture. It does, however mention the account in Genesis where Enoch was translated (i.e. "raptured") to Heaven. Research into the Jewish Fall Feasts indicates that "Natzal" (Hebrew for 'catching away') is one part of God's plan to protect the righteous in the time of trouble. The corresponding Feast (Yom Kippor) is the "Day of Atonement". All these feasts are Messianic in nature. The book discusses things the Bible only hints at: "The Watchers" (Nephilim -- the giants, of which Goliath was said to be one). Maybe not provable, but not mythology either. The Bible DOES mention some of these things, so it's not just "out there". If you want more information, find Ken Johnson's book and read it. Jesus is said to have made reference to it in Matthew 22, where He speaks of angels not being married in Heaven (referenced in the Book of Enoch). He rebukes the Sadducees (for not knowing the Scripture, so Jesus is making it equal to Scripture) and he rebukes them for not understanding the meaning of it. Jesus doesn't call out the book by name, however.
