My father is a medical psychiatric professional so I know quite a bit about mental conditions. And by the end of the video it is easy to say that she is not insane. She likely has some mental hinderances, but no conditions that would qualify her as insane. By the end it is shown that the husband did in fact run away with the money, that the so called doctor that had convinced her to put herself in a ward was pretending to be someone else, and that to the best of our knowledge she didn't kill anyone. The husband poisoned himself twice, then poisoned his wife. The non mute child killed the dwarf. Elephant man killed the mute child thinking he was the non mute child. Elephant man was imprisoned. She was declared sane by four medical professionals by the end.
Note: This is my personal diagnoses. I have no medical degree, and what I said can not be held against me if I am incorrect. This is a personal opinion.

So the husband poisoned himself and acted so shocked to himself in the bathroom and again in the bedroom. No one who scheming against someone else does that. The actor acts before the intended target not himself/herself. This movie / series was written by writers to be edgy for nothing, just fake manufactured twists in the story.
Why was Alice being psychotically happy and dancing when the husband was struggling to breathe if she was so innocent?
You are just weak and have a soft spot for the female character.

What chemist doesn’t know how to make poison? I won’t even buy poison unless it’s from someone I know who doesn’t have a background in chemistry! What was this one time about it from a botanist, but I lost her number. Was good and untraceable! But the chemist can have the outcome made to order! Like if you wanted to delay it or have something that gets the job done, but with a dramatic flare like bleeding from the ears, eyes nose mouth etc or my favorite the one that turns down into a catatonic zombie!
