Thanks for the video! Im about to do the same installation this weekend. do you think it would be possible to install the lock actuator somewhere lower in the door or would there be some interference between the actuator rod and the lock itself? Additionally, where did you locate the the antenna/remote control signal receiver of the lock?

Hi Janne. You can install the actuator lower, no problem as long as the actuator arm is long enough. I did put the receiver in the dash.

Instead of sawing the sheet metal off, could you have stacked some washers/spacers between the actuator and the sheet metal to get things to fit square? Is there room for the actuator to work that way or does it move the actuator too far to the outside?

Yes you could have used a stack of washers :-)

Yes the alarm has been in the car for over a year now. All good except from the annoying signal everytime you turn it on/off. czcams.com/video/25rtwHYE0aY/video.html
