Real problem : I am Student of class 12 in New Kondli consituency . My region has 5 Liquor shops in just one market , nearby area of vasundra and mayur vihar phase 3 have 9 each . 2 shops of my area are adjacent to Ration shop , 1 adjacent to stationery book store and 2 in society complex while theres only 1 school and 2 govt dispensry . My school has broken benches and students have not recieved the dress and book money from past 2 years .
Same logic should be applied to Gujarat Government. Liquor ban in Gandhi's state with peoples floating in river of Duplicate liquor.
And to think that the supply happens without political support and money going to bjp ministers would only something a bhakt will do. Yet a CBI or an ED will never take any action there.
LG wants liquor policy like Gujrat where Govt does not sell liquor legally, but let the liquor mafia sell fake/adultered/ low quality liquor and kill their fellow citizens!!

CBI mainly investigates corruption charges against govt employees/ officials or ministers and ED investigates illegal money transactions. Deaths due to consumption of illicit liquor is primarily investigated by state excise department and state police.

I 100% agree with the fact that these tactics are well played by BJP at the right time. I am a Surti and don't support any party fully, but I had decided to vote for AAP, as the allegations made by BJP are not avoidable, this may lead lack of confidence for many confused /new voters like me. I hope AAP will prove such allegations wrong ASAP.
The only hope for a Developed India(not in a superficial world) is Best Education, as of now my vote is secured for AAP only but I hope such black clouds will be clear soon.

They have no clear allegations...they have just assumed ki corruption hua hai...jabki policy didn't work that way which govt might have think of...vendors took huge benefits in policy clauses that's the only issue...like govt make a clause to let vendor decide what discount they can give... vendors totally misused this and starts selling but one get one free...which govt never expected ..those clauses got backfired and damage the govt intentions...
Abhi vendor got the license in 40cr for airport...airport comes under center...center didn't give him NOC...without NOC he can't open the shop.... So the license fee that man will bankcrupt...so as responsible govt ...govt refund all his fee and take back the license...how is this corruption??

Kudos! I think you're the only person who has mentioned the Haryana angle which is very important to understand the need for new excise policy! I am living in UP for last 4yrs due to my job and i have seen how booze is smuggled from Haryana in trucks because liquor is very expensive in UP and MP. When LG did not let liquor shops to open in unauthorised areas, which was there before new policy, obviously revenue will not be generated as per expectations, thereby loss of revenue caused by the sudden change in policy just before two days of the implementation of new policy.

Because of ban of alcohol 10 out of 5 6 are addicted to the smoking even 8 9th standard boys doing smoking.
One positive thing that came out of this fasad is the closing of multiple liquor shops around Delhi which is good , around half of them closed down due to unreliable policies, so overall less shops means less sales
I totally support ur opinion but bro don't u think it might increase the consumption of illegal(even poisonous) alcohol like kachi sarab(methanol) or black market consumption. We have seen this situation in Bihar and Gujarat

I would have liked to see you detailing the explanation on the allegations given by AAP, because you only talked about allegations and outcomes, politics aspects. From what I have read specifically on explanations given by AAP:
1.144 crore exemption: Because of COVID exemptions were given to many by all governments including BJP. AAP gave as well to vends who lost business.
2. 30 crore Earnest money: The highest bidder was returned the EM because Airport operator refused NOC and another bidder paid the same amount without causing any loss to exchequer.
3. Price of liquor reduction: Policy stated prices of liquor may be changed as per market conditions. Exchequer is not affected as revenue comes from the license fee not VAT mainly.
I feel there's very little information on details of the matter from both sparring parties and I hoped you would make another episode clarifying in detail the position of both parties.
