Gist: 5 levels of truthfulness of intentions:
    1. Perform good deeds with quality only for the sake of Allah (check quality of your deeds alone vs. In public)
    2. Do deeds for the hereafter rather than for this world.
    3. Be steadfast/strong (i.e. try as hard as possible) to do that deed without harming you or others. E.g. if you intend to pray Jumua every week, take enough action to be able to do so; e.g. talking to your boss.
    4. Do the next possible/best thing (e.g. if you can't join Jumua at least recite sura kahf and make dua between Asr and Magreb)
    5. Ask Allah for capacity & intend to do that deed when you get the opportunity. E.g. if Allah give me wealth then I will donate this much. You will get full reward of doing that deed if your intention is true. However, this type of intention is not applicable to intentions for leaving sins: Do not delay your repentance and taking resolve to give up sins; don't say something like after my Hajj, I will leave Haram business.
Main talk starts around 15 min.

    1. Is it only for Allah? If no one is watching you, will you still do that good deed?
    2. If it is only for Allah, how will you perform that good deed? How much perfection or good you can do?
    3. Is it only for hearafter or you are seeking reward only for duniya or from someone else.
    4. When you will give up the intention? You can give up your intentention only if it is harmful to you or someone else. But don't give up your intention because you are impatient.
    5. Are you doing the next good deed? If one opportunity is missed, are you doing the next good deed or using next opportunity to fulfill your sincere intention. If you missed jumah salah are you still reading surah kahf and sending blessings to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to fulfil jummah day activities?
    6. Calling out to Allah and intended to do the good deeds when the opportunity present itself. When the opportunity will come are you the first person to respond to that opportunity?
Be serious with your promises or intention to Allah.
    7. Do not delay with your repentance.
If you have any devotion to Allah that you want to perform
If you have any sin to quit
If you have any good deed you want to do
If you have anything to pursue
Then Don't wait. Think about it now.

Jazak Allahu Khair Imam Omar. I would like to ask a question about the one who is alone with Allah in seclusion and has deep sincerity for change and is performing their best in the presence of Allah but then falls short when around family. For example, when certain family members don’t pray and there’s a great deal of distraction that one misses prayer. I feel I am at my best when I am at home alone with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and working hard on my spirituality and trying to perfect my intentions but when I have to check in on family and sometimes spend a couple of days with them, I miss my prayers and feel so so guilty. It feels like I’m stepping outside of the person I am trying hard to be and becoming someone else when with others because I allow myself to put off praying. I don’t like that person at all. How does one re-orient and adapt to the world when dealing with it? Does our intention in seclusion carry over when outside and is it enough? I must try to keep my duty to Allah no mater what or where I am. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala correct our hearts in shaa Allah. I hope my question makes sense in shaa Allah.

Dear fellow in Islam..assalam alaikum..What u r going through is my problem as well...I am working on it and I see there is improvement....To be able to pray in segregation is not a big deal..But to pray instead of having obstacles is a real test of our commitment for prayers ..It is really a big deal to disconnect from this world and establish our connection with Allah swt whilst we are so engaged in those worldly affairs...We must excuse overselves while with our family so that they too become use to it....Let it become a habit for them too.... Thanks for bearing with my poor English...May Allah swt guide us and Our families to be steadfast in prayers

Do you celebrity 'sheikhs' ever speak about any issue that is acutely relevant to the ummah right now? What incredible fitnah to hear you talk about sincerity after you have been surreptitiously injecting LGBT acceptance into Islam and twisting the sayings of the Prophet (PBUH) to fit your agenda of appeasement. Don't you ever ponder on this ayah?
"And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, ‘Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the only guidance’. If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge you would have against Allah no protector or helper" (2 : 120)
Will you then continue to appease? To what end? Until they make you accept Dajjal as your lord?
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “There is something I fear for my ummah more than the dajjal: misguided scholars.” (Musnad Ahmed bin Hunbal)
